Authentic Roads is a small project aimed at making road simulation as realistic as possible. It addresses inaccuracies in road constructions, since the SCS versions appear simplified, judging by the latest DLC. This mod focuses on fixing road templates and correcting areas with road layouts, configurations, road width/length, and curvature that do not realistically reflect locations. The MUTCD government standards have been studied to achieve roads as accurate as possible to real life. Since something similar has already been done with signs, it's time to do the same with roads. It is planned to patch specific road sections that require special attention, especially in places where changing the road template alone is insufficient to eliminate irregularities. This will also be done in areas unlikely to be restored by SCS.

What this mod changes:
Currently, this mod modifies road templates, so you don’t need to worry about any conflicting map mods. No sector modifications are planned so far.

Before installing the update, sell the old truck and disable the old mod.
The current archive contains 2 files - the truck and a fix for the Steering Creations Pack.
Place the pack fix above the truck in the mod manager.

The mod adds stainless steel wheel caps with round holes to the game, which can be installed on the wheels of both the truck and your own trailer.

Due to the variety of tires and rims, both standard in-game and from other mods, the caps do not always fit perfectly.
It is recommended to install them on the following wheel rim models:
— for the truck’s front wheels: “Absolute Fury” rims;
— for the truck’s rear wheels: “Standard” rims;
— for the semi-trailer wheels: “Standard” rims.

Attention!
Before installing this version of the mod, it is recommended to remove the front wheel caps installed from previous versions of the mod and then reinstall them in the game after installing this version of the mod.
