Description

This mod adds Cummins NTC Big Cam engines and sounds for some SCS and mod trucks. This engine was mainly used in older SCS Peterbilt 389 and Kenworth W900 trucks.

Features:

- Cummins NTC Big Cam 240-400HP engines with straight pipe sound;
- Additional detailing enhances the engine, turbo, turbo spool down, and Jake brake sounds;
- Custom sound attenuation.

Version 4.0 for American Truck Simulator (v1.46.x, - 1.48.x):

- The entire mod has been rebuilt;
- Engine files and characteristics have been updated.

Version 3.0 for American Truck Simulator (v1.45.x):

This mod adds Cummins NTC Big Cam engines and sounds for some SCS and mod trucks. This engine was mainly used in older SCS Peterbilt 389 and Kenworth W900 trucks.

Features:

- Cummins NTC Big Cam 240-400HP engines with straight pipe sound;
- Additional detailing enhances engine sound, turbo, turbo spool-down, and engine brake;
- Custom sound attenuation.

Changes:

- The entire mod has been rebuilt;
- Maximum volume adjustment is used to reduce the likelihood of sound disappearing and to prevent excessively loud sound;
- Half of the engine characteristics have been removed due to misinformation about small Cummins camshafts;
- Added a 444 hp engine and a tuned 605 hp engine;
- Exhaust distortions improved with stack simulation for a more realistic feel;
- Other improvements.
