SnowRunner - April Development News

The SnowRunner developers have published news with important information about development. Let's go through everything in order. 

New Platforms

First of all, the developers reminded that SnowRunner will soon be released on the Steam store. It will officially be available for purchase on May 18, in less than two weeks. Additionally, there will initially be no crossplay between the two platforms (EGS and Steam), but it will be added over time.

Moreover, the game will be released not only on Steam but also on Nintendo Switch on the same day, so everyone will be able to play SnowRunner on their preferred platform.

Season Four

Now some news about the fourth season of the seasonal pass. Many players have already tried out season four on the public test server. The developers release small patches almost daily, fixing bugs and adding new content. This update will be available to users who have the seasonal pass as well as the premium edition of the game.

The new region features 4 huge maps, as we have already mentioned. Additionally, the ZiKZ 605-R and Khan 317 Sentinel vehicles are available. In the new area, players will have missions involving building a rocket launch site – this is simply incredible. Besides building from scratch, players will need to repair important facilities: the spaceport, old rocket pads, and more.

There is also tuning for both existing and new vehicles. Season four will add many new parts to customize your vehicles. And of course – two trailers. However, even users without the premium edition or seasonal pass subscription will be able to enjoy free content. The hardcore mode alone is worth it for fans of real challenge and realism. Additionally, free trials, customization items, and more will be available.

Finally, the developers shared news about the truck tournament finale. Everyone interested can participate in voting for the best truck on the SnowRunner developers’ Discord server, Twitter, or Facebook.
