SnowRunner - June Development Update

The SnowRunner developers are closely monitoring all feedback and are aware of the issues present in the game. They have published information about what to expect in the near future.

HotFix for PS4
A special hotfix will be released for consoles. The issue is that, following the latest update, PS4 experienced serious image quality problems. This happened due to recent changes related to rendering. The developers are aware of this problem and will soon release an update specifically for consoles to fix these issues. The developers are already working on optimizing the project, so the image quality problem will be resolved soon. Along with the hotfix, the developers plan to add support for certain steering wheel models – Logitech G29 and G920.

Test Server on PC
The game developers announced that a public test server will soon be available again for personal computers. Various new features will already be accessible on this server. The most important feature is the map editor. On the public test server, tools will be available that allow players to create their own maps.

However, players will not be able to create their own missions immediately upon the server’s launch. This feature will be added to the game a little later. The developers promised to announce the opening of the public test server separately from this news. We just have to wait.

Season Pass
The first phase of the season pass will be available soon. According to the SnowRunner developers, they will focus all their efforts on the first phase immediately after releasing the hotfix for PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The first phase includes a new map for Russia, as well as free skins, various cargoes, new challenges, and much more.

But there is good news for those who do not have a season pass. If your friend has purchased the season pass, you will also be able to enjoy all its benefits in multiplayer, even if you do not have the pass yourself. However, all the season pass content will not be available at once – the developers will divide the content into several updates.
