Today the developers officially announced the development of a new DLC dedicated to Texas, which was showcased during the Christmas livestream.
The Lone Star State, the second largest state in the USA both by area and population, will offer many unique attractions: from cities to coastal beaches, mountains, and deserts. Texas is diverse both geographically and culturally. The state is also the best for running your own business. It has the second largest economy after California. Numerous jobs, factories, and corporations.
Texas is also one of the best states in the USA for doing business! It boasts the second largest economy in the USA after California, with a huge number of companies and industries. There are many jobs, from livestock farming to energy and aerospace, so drivers deliver goods here year-round.
SCS has confirmed that this DLC for American Truck Simulator will be available this year. Alongside this expansion, the team is also working on another state.

It was an ordinary day, sunny in places. You were sitting in the office trying to get at least some work. However...
- Kolya! There’s work! But they say they only take psychos, so what about you, will you provide them with a certificate from the psych ward yourself or should we send it by fax? – unexpectedly, your boss’s voice rang out.
- Dmitry Leonidovich! We’ve been out of work for a month! Just give us this one then, – your colleague said regretfully, – we’ll manage! Right, Kolyan? – he addressed you with a smile.
- Yeah... – you hesitated at first, – what are the conditions?
- Conditions? Well, don’t be shocked now, – Leonidovich made a sour face and continued, – 19 sawmills, 19 scouting points. They also report that there’s a MAZ-538 standing in the upper warehouse and a couple more vehicles abandoned somewhere. Fewer garages though... only 5.
For a couple of minutes, everyone in the office was deep in thought.
- Maybe forget it? Kolyan? – your colleague doubted.
- Nah, Vital! Let’s go! – you decided instantly.

And so, as already mentioned, this map is not for completing in 5-6 hours. Here I give you the chance to howl in hatred at the construction! 2 mandatory bridges, and if someone is playing solo, then 3!
