Differences Between Farming Simulator 2022 and Farming Simulator 2019

Farming Simulator 22 is just around the corner. Opinions vary. Some players believe the game will be a failure from the start, while others say FS22 is just a plain clone of Farming Simulator 19. But is that really the case? It's hard to say for sure since the game hasn't been released yet, but in this article, we'll try to figure out what really sets FS22 apart from its predecessor.
Production Chains
The first thing that comes to mind is production chains. This is quite a controversial point, as some say this feature has long existed in FS19 thanks to mods. But let's look at it from another perspective. If you think logically, so many mods were created for FS19 that coming up with something new on your own is almost impossible: modders have covered everything.

But the very fact that the developers have thoroughly worked on and added features from popular mods into the base game is not a bad thing—in fact, it’s quite the opposite. Now modders will have much more time and energy to work on new ideas, and the game’s own capabilities will open new doors for mod creators.
Being able to process flour into bakery products, grapes into raisins, and so on is a very important part of the gameplay, since not all players use mods, and modders don’t always manage to update their projects to the latest game version. With this, such problems and constant updates can be forgotten.
Crossplay
This news delighted many fans of the series. We have already mentioned that FS22 will feature crossplay between all available and current platforms: PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and 5, previous-generation Xbox, next-generation Xbox, and other platforms.
If you like playing with your friends or just want to meet new people, there will be no barriers for you, as PC players will be able to play with console players.
It’s worth noting that such a feature is very rare. Take SnowRunner, for example, which doesn’t even have proper crossplay between the two PC stores: Steam and Epic Games Store, let alone crossplay between different platforms.
The real question is how the developers will implement this. It’s hard to judge until the game is released, but we can hope they will keep their word and deliver a high-quality experience.
New Types of Equipment – Gameplay Variety
Yes, Farming Simulator 22 will have a lot of new and old equipment. However, we’re not just talking about different cultivators. This concerns completely new machinery used if you grow new crops, and FS22 will start with 3 of them.

If you decide to grow grapes or olives, you will need to perform a series of additional actions to harvest, and you won’t be able to do without new specialized equipment. This really adds a lot of variety to the gameplay.
Also, don’t forget that new crops are grown differently and require a special approach to farm care to achieve the best results. If you want to build a truly beautiful vineyard and create a unique farm, you can do it without any mods.
Precision Farming and Other Additions
For a long time, the developers created expansions for FS19. Players loved precision farming, which brought a lot of interesting features to the game. This expansion significantly improved gameplay variety.

Although it took quite a while for this expansion to be released for FS19, it is already known that precision farming will be included in FS22. And you won’t have to pay for it—it will be provided for free with the base game. Consequently, the gameplay has become much better, and many old expansions will be integrated into the base game.
Improved Engine, Enhanced Sounds
This is a very important aspect that many have underestimated. As we reported earlier, the game engine has been significantly improved. This means the graphics will be much better (especially considering the dynamic surface changes with parallax effects). Yes, the game has made a leap forward graphically, although many didn’t notice it in the videos. As we know well, developers tend to exaggerate, and trailer and gameplay videos often differ greatly from the final game. Will this be the case with FS22? Maybe, but only to a minor extent. We can’t predict in advance; the wait is almost over.
It’s quite possible that this improved engine will open new opportunities for modders. We don’t yet know 100% how deeply Giants Engine 9 has been reworked, but it’s likely modders will have plenty to work on.
And let’s not forget about the sounds. The overall sound has been significantly improved. Special attention is deserved by the dynamic change effect of exhaust, engine, and other sounds for a higher quality game experience.
Built-in Seasons Effect, New Construction Mode, Character Editor
Let’s discuss some of the latest very interesting details, some of which have become known to us quite recently. Everyone probably knows about the Seasons mod. The developers have added an improved seasons system to the game. This affects not only the visual aspect but also directly impacts gameplay. This setting can always be turned off, but then the gameplay will suffer.

If you enable seasons, you will have to carefully monitor the calendar, because certain crops must be grown in specific seasons to get a good quality harvest and, of course, profit. And visually, everything will look very cool, if we believe the developers.
The next interesting features are the construction mode and character editor. It’s quite simple. Construction mode is a very useful feature, especially considering production chains. You will have to build various buildings, and a dedicated mode will be helpful here. The character editor is designed so you can create your unique farmer, choose their clothing and overall appearance, and show your individuality in multiplayer (and with such a cool crossplay feature, this will come in very handy).
And that brings our article to a close, dear readers. Please write in the comments what you think about the upcoming FS22. We remind you that this article is based on news from the developers. We are not advertising FS22; we are simply writing based on known facts.

Used Trucks Dealer version 1.5.7 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (v1.42.x)

Have you ever wanted used trucks in your game? Well, this mod is for you!

Main features introduced since version 1.5.6:
Each brand/model of truck from the base game as a used truck;
Each truck comes with different mileage, accessories, part wear, engine condition, and price;
Some trucks’ paint is faded, scratched/dusty/rusty, and some belonged to old companies;
Used trucks have their own dealership in Frankfurt.

Detailed aspects of some truck characteristics:
Truck prices range from 43% to 55% (compared to their new version) depending on their mileage;
The higher the mileage, the cheaper the price, but the truck parts wear out more;
As a drawback, you cannot change the cabin, chassis, engine, interior, or transmission of a used truck, but you can paint it and add/remove accessories.

Engine condition features:
Engine condition can be found in the engine name;
Engines with high mileage will have permanent “fatigue” and will not reach maximum power (up to 20%);
Each engine is unique and has an individual torque curve;
Trucks with a non-working engine will have (!) at the beginning of the name and will be shown in the description;
If the engine is broken, you will have several options for used/new engines.

Truck dealership:
You can drive to the truck dealer in Frankfurt (still with Iveco flags) and buy used trucks there (also on the map);
A used trucks tab in the mod center where you can buy all trucks.
