A regular winter for 1.7.1. Specifically for 1.7.1 as of 03.03.06. Everything is okay, it’s snowing, and the snow is white everywhere. In general, this is version 1, and I hope there will be a version 2. Yes, the mod is a bit rough around the edges. But it’s playable. There is an idea to create winter textures for all DLCs for this spin. But these are just plans; we’ll see how it goes.

Because the work is being done so close to the Canadian border, and due to def file conflicts between Canadream and Discover Ontario, we had to choose which of these mods to support. This means that we are currently dropping support for Canadream. Whether Canadream support will return is unknown.

Hello everyone! I put this together for myself, trying to organize and keep only higher-quality objects and materials (because the original junk was nearly ten gigabytes, downloaded from everywhere possible, with lots of duplicates). Maybe someone will find it useful so they don’t have to gather it piece by piece from the internet! Perfect for beginner mappers! The total size after unpacking will be about 4.5 gigabytes.

Many players have positively appreciated the viewpoints that the developers added to the game. They allow for a detailed acquaintance with the landmarks in the form of a brief video tour. This became an impetus for the ETS 2 team, who decided to add new viewpoints (about 35 new ones) not only for new map expansions but also for old locations. 
A new video from the official channel provides a brief overview of such areas. The viewpoints will be available in the upcoming 1.43 update. It has not been announced yet. We are awaiting news.
