Farming is quite profitable, but you need to keep in mind that you can’t spend all the profits on yourself. You constantly need to buy new farms, new fields, and most importantly – new vehicles and tools, of which there are about 400 in the game. All these tools, tractors, and other equipment will help you increase your farm’s profits and significantly speed up your work. However, a reasonable question arises – where do you get the money for all this, how do you buy the tractor of your dreams?
Discounted Equipment
First of all, you need to earn your first money. Just work, and when you have accumulated money in your bank account – you can turn to the dealer. However, new equipment is sold at a heavily inflated price. Fortunately, in Farming Simulator 22 there is the option to buy more worn equipment at a discount.
Yes, you can purchase a very expensive and powerful tractor and any other equipment at a decent discount. The only difference from the expensive versions is wear, since this equipment is not new but still works perfectly and is sold cheaper only because it is used.
This is a perfect opportunity to save money, especially at the beginning of the game when profits are not that high!
Drawbacks
Of course, this used equipment is not sold at a big discount out of kindness, and it will have its flaws and downsides, albeit minor ones. The bigger the discount on used equipment – the higher the chance that the performance of this equipment will be lower, and you will have to repair some parts to be able to work properly. 
Equally important – such equipment will have a major downside – a higher wear rate. That is, if you buy new equipment, you will be able to work longer without repairs, while used vehicles will break down faster.
By the way, you will have to repair not only the technical components of the equipment but also the exterior – these are now separate parts.
In any case, buying used equipment at a discount is an incredibly profitable deal that will help significantly speed up your farm’s productivity. Naturally, if you do everything right.
