The year 2021 is coming to an end, so it's time to make a selection of the best mods for Farming Simulator 22 released in 2021. There were quite a lot of mods, although many of them were converted from the previous game. This selection includes the highest quality and most popular mods, including those converted from the previous installment of the series.
Every player may have their own list of the best mods, which is why this selection is our subjective opinion. GAZ-53
Domestic machinery – the GAZ-53, which fits perfectly into the overall concept of the game. The mod is very well crafted, gathering over 1000 downloads and a large number of enthusiastic user reviews and quite a few likes within a few days.

The truck itself is not overpowered and does not break the game. The maximum horsepower is 115, with acceleration up to 90 km/h. Additionally, the cost of the vehicle is very pleasing – only 7000 euros, so it’s affordable for everyone, whether a beginner farmer or a fairly decent and wealthy one.
It has many different configurations and meets all Farming Simulator 22 standards. Configurations include the body, wheels, engine, license plates, and more. The vehicle gets dirty, wears out, mirrors work, and there are other effects and animations. In short, a mod that definitely deserves your attention.

Place Anywhere

A script that was included in our previous selection of the best conversions from FS19 but also rightfully takes its place in this selection. This is a small script that allows you to build completely freely, placing objects exactly where you want, regardless of the game’s restrictions. Naturally, the mod should be used wisely to avoid bugs, since buildings can be constructed even inside each other. In such cases, bugs may occur. However, if used wisely, the mod will only be beneficial.

Map "Bukhalovo"

Here is another conversion from Farming Simulator 19 – the legendary Russian map that was and still is in huge demand among players. Naturally, we are talking about the "Bukhalovo" map. Overall, it’s a typical Russian map with all the game’s features: you can buy fields and grow crops, with as many as 11 fields available; you can engage in animal husbandry, earning a decent profit from it, and other activities. The map includes vehicle traffic for greater realism, and that’s about it – just a heartfelt and beautiful map. 

Manual Attach
This mod appears in our selections for the first time. You wrote comments about Manual Attach, and here it is in our selection. The mod itself is small but very cool, especially for realism enthusiasts.

Now you will have to manually attach various tools and trailers to your tractors – the game will no longer do this for you; everything is done manually. Essentially, this complicates the game, but realism is the most important aspect in simulators. All instructions can be found on the download page.

AutoDrive

AutoDrive is one of the most popular mods for both Farming Simulator 19 and FS22. It works in a rather interesting way, allowing you to create various routes on the roads of maps (including those added by mods). Once a route is created, you can send your vehicles autonomously to any point connected by the route. Consequently, many processes in the game can be automated.

Strong Farmer and analogs
Another simple script that just makes your farmer stronger, allowing them to lift heavy machinery. Yes, it’s not very realistic when a farmer lifts heavy tools or even machinery with bare hands. But it significantly eases some processes in the game.

The mod gathered more than 2000 downloads in a short time, as well as good reviews and likes from users, which is why it ended up in the best mods of 2021 for Farming Simulator 22. 
There are several such mods, so you can download any analog of Strong Farmer – they all work the same way.

MAN TGX 2020
One of the most popular and beloved truck mods in Farming Simulator 22 – MAN TGX 2020. This is a well-crafted truck with decent power and various features. Let’s start with the fact that the MAN TGX has a fuel tank capacity of up to 400 liters, which allows it to travel quite a distance.

It’s not too cheap but not expensive either – 129,000 euros. It has a huge selection of various configurations. You can choose the chassis, different interior parts, accessories, beacons, rear fenders, mudguards, and many other details – the MAN TGX 2020 can be fully customized to your taste.
Additionally, the truck has an adjustable fifth wheel, working mirrors, quality lighting, various animations for parts, and much more. The author put a lot of effort into this mod, which is why it has thousands of downloads and has given players many positive emotions.

Enhanced Vehicle
Enhanced Vehicle is a truly useful addition that adds several new functions to the game and provides more information about machinery. Let’s go through everything in order. By installing this mod, you will be able to lock the differential and enable all-wheel drive mode. In addition, hydraulic control will be improved.
These are not all the features of the mod. You will see more information about your machinery in the HUD. Lots of useful info such as the percentage of machinery damage, current fuel level, engine RPM, engine temperature, whether the differential is locked, the mass of the controlled machinery, and other information. The mod perfectly complements Farming Simulator 22.

KamAZ 45143 Selkhoznik
Another domestic vehicle made it into the top best mods for FS22 in 2021. The mod adds the Kamaz 45143 Selkhoznik to your game. But why this particular vehicle? Let’s start with the fact that the mod is detailed down to the smallest parts. Yes, there may be some flaws, but the modders are constantly working on the project, adding updates. 

The Kamaz 45143 has a wide selection of parts: from the basic color to various interior parts. Wheel configurations, mirrors, steering wheel, sun visor, grille, body, engine, and much more – the vehicle can be fully customized to your liking.
Moreover, it supports game features: it gets dirty, wears out, mirrors work, it can be washed, has dynamic hoses, animated dashboard, animated gear lever, and other details. If you want to add new interesting machinery to your game, don’t pass it by.

Strautmann SEK 802 Pallet Autoload
You really loved this mod, which is why it made it into our selection. Over 4000 downloads in a fairly short time, dozens of likes, many positive comments. Essentially, this is just an improved version of the base Strautmann SEK 802 trailer, but with one feature – Strautmann SEK 802 Pallet Autoload has an automatic pallet loading function using the Pallet Autoload Specialization mod.

Basically, the author just showed how trailers can be combined with this script, and it turned out quite well: it’s useful for modders as an example and perfect for players. 

Courseplay
Yes, yes, it was impossible to do without this mod. We won’t describe it in detail, just say that it is one of the most popular scripts in the entire Farming Simulator series. It allows you to fully automate the farming process, but the settings are very detailed, so everyone can customize everything to their liking.

hx520 converted from SnowRunner. Test version of the mod. The trucks have no accessories except for tuning and the saddle. Compatible with addons, trailers from other authors. Since this is my last mod this year, I placed the full 3D model, fully editable for ambitious modders, in the rar archive. The mod was tested only with an Xbox One gamepad.
