Based on the KrAZ-214B, from which it inherited the overall layout. Among the main differences are a more powerful and economical YaMZ-238 engine and wide-profile tires with a centralized tire pressure regulation system. The largest number of vehicles in the KrAZ-255B/B1 family were produced between 1978 and 1987 (with production volumes reaching 7,500 - 8,000 vehicles annually).

A Spintires mod pack, model author: iSavage. Dashboard from the KrAZ-260. No axle collision. Transports 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 cargo points. The pack includes two KrAZ trucks: one with a locked differential, the other with an unlocked differential. Differences in color, addons, and wheel types. Fog lights installed in the front bumper. Default off-road capability.
