Lowfolds is based around a real working farm in the fertile hills of the Grampians, Scotland. There are two other farms: East Low, where you can find sheep, and Newton of Leveska, where the cows are located.

- Three active farms, two of which have independent grain storage. Three forest areas around the map.
- Four different selling points (Aberdeen Grains, Highland Grains, Aberdeen Northern Marts Group, and Housing Estate) for various crops.
- Large capacity storage at Highland Grains, so you can store those crops waiting for free.
- Seed and fertilizer acceptance points on the farms and at two selling points, as well as pallet storage on the farms for those who prefer to use them.
- Please note that all live hedges, fences, and walls have collision; however, there are significant grassy headlands around the fields to assist these workers.
- Animated gates and lights for most farm buildings. Automatic lighting at selling points.
