When starting a new game, the map gives the player the option to choose whether to start on the farm or in the forest.
With the starting farm or forest options, you get different starting machines (each adapted to the farm or forest area), both starting options begin on the same map.

On this map there are:
- a farm
- three forests
- a village
- three small settlements
- a train (locomotive, 3 grain wagons, 3 wooden wagons, 1 flatbed)
