Mercedes-Benz C-Class (orig. Ger. C-Klasse) is a series of compact executive cars from the German automotive company Mercedes-Benz, which debuted in 1993. It is an evolution of the Mercedes-Benz 190 model. Before the introduction of the A-Class in 1997, the series represented the smallest cars both in size and classification within the Mercedes-Benz brand hierarchy.
