Description

Daewoo Nexia is a subcompact car developed by the German company Opel and later modernized by the South Korean company Daewoo. The model has two generations in its history.

The first-generation Nexia was a modernized version of the Daewoo Racer model (produced from 1986 to 1994), which in turn was a clone of the Opel Kadett E model (produced from 1984 to 1991). Between 1996 and 1998, it was assembled in Rostov-on-Don, and from 1996 to 2016 it was manufactured in Uzbekistan, in the city of Asaka, Andijan region. Over its entire existence, the Daewoo Nexia gained great popularity not only among car enthusiasts in Uzbekistan but also in Russia and other CIS countries. More than 500,000 units were produced.
