Description

Mitsubishi Lancer (Jap. 三菱・ランサー) is a family of cars produced by Mitsubishi Motors from 1973 to 2018. It was also released under the names: Colt Lancer, Dodge/Plymouth Colt, Chrysler Valiant Lancer, Chrysler Lancer, Eagle Summit, Hindustan Lancer, Soueast Lioncel, Mitsubishi Carisma, Galant Fortis, and Mitsubishi Mirage in different countries and at different times. Additionally, it was sold as the Lancer Fortis in Taiwan with minor exterior differences compared to the Galant Fortis. The name Lancer translates as lancer or spearman.
