Description

KamAZ-4911 — a sports truck produced by the Kama Automobile Plant (KamAZ)
Participant in the "Silk Way" rally, "Rally Dakar"
This racing all-wheel-drive truck was nicknamed "the flying one" because it easily and gracefully lifted off the ground
It was a production model, unique in the main KamAZ lineup
To be recognized as a production model by FIA standards at that time, it was enough to produce 15 vehicles per year; now – 50 over two years
It was equipped with a YaMZ-7E846 V8 turbo diesel engine producing 750 hp, with two BorgWarner turbochargers
The vehicle was capable of reaching speeds up to 180 km/h, accelerating to 100 km/h in just 16 seconds
