Daewoo Lanos — a light (subcompact) front-wheel-drive car available in sedan or hatchback body styles, developed and originally manufactured by Daewoo, was first introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1997 under the name Daewoo Lanos as a replacement for the Daewoo Nexia
It was designed in collaboration with a number of reputable German and British engineering firms by Daewoo’s research center in Woking
The car’s body was designed by Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro
With Daewoo’s integration into the General Motors group on April 30, 2002, the car began to be sold under the Chevrolet brand
Production of the Lanos ended in December 2017
