ChTZ T-130 version 16.02.20 for Spintires: MudRunner (v10.06.19)

T-130 (T-10.01, tractor drivers often traditionally call the tractor T-100, or even S-100; colloquially - "hundred") is a Soviet agricultural and industrial tracked tractor produced by the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant. It is a deep modernization of the T-100 tractor. The tractor was produced in two modifications: standard and swamp-going (T-130B) with an increased track area. The tractor is used as part of a bulldozer-ripper unit, as well as a base machine for a pipe layer and pile driver. The further development of the T-130 tractor was the T-170 model with an increased engine power of up to 174 hp. There is an agricultural modification T-170MGS for plowing rice fields. The tractor has 8 gears.
The T-130 and T-170 tractors deserve a mixed assessment. Their advantages include a simple design and low cost (compared to tractors of a similar class). At the same time, by the time mass production began, the tractor’s design, "rooted" in the 1930s, was already seriously outdated. The mechanical transmission did not allow the engine power to be fully realized under heavy load and complicated the tractor’s control process. The semi-rigid suspension also did not allow the tractor to realize the engine’s tractive potential either through speed or tractive effort. The service life of the final drive clutches, which had not changed since the S-80 tractor, was extremely short on the T-130, especially on the T-170. The diesel engine was started by an archaic four-stroke two-cylinder gasoline starter engine, which in turn was not easy to start, especially in cold weather. The control levers and pedals, which acted directly on the transmission elements, vibrated strongly during operation. Tractors of a similar class produced abroad (USA, Japan) at that time already had hydromechanical transmissions, elastic suspension, spring-mounted sealed cabins, and remote control of the transmission and running gear as standard equipment, eliminating vibration transmission to the controls.
