Hello everyone,
It’s been a month since Spintires: MudRunner was released, and we’re excited to tell you about some new features we’re working on and plan to add to the game next week! If you missed what was in the last update, you can check it out
here.
Currently, we plan for these features to appear on PC next week and on consoles a couple of weeks after that. We will provide a full changelog at the time of the update release.
New features on all platforms:
- A new third-person camera mode, where the vehicle will be centered (not off to the side).
- A new autosave system that automatically saves your game progress every five minutes.
- The ability to rotate the camera backward inside the cabin.
- Adjusted difficulty for loading logs onto trailers. It will be easier for players to straighten the truck for loading timber.
- Various settings and fixes.
On consoles:
- Wheel support will be introduced! The specifications of the wheels that will be supported will be published at the time of the console update release, in a couple of weeks.
On PC:
- More wheels will be officially supported, and many others will work correctly, though not all will have pedal or preset support.
- New hotkeys for quickly switching to and from the cabin view.
Of course, we continue working on other features such as
Steam Workshop map support for PC, functional mirrors, and more, as well as other content that should be a surprise.
Thank you, and let’s keep moving forward to release this update! Please keep sending your feedback as we continue working on Spintires: MudRunner.
See you soon!
