Cache Cleaner version 1.1 for Spintires: MudRunner (v26.10.17-29.01.18)

The archive contains three bat files for clearing the Spintires: MudRunner cache:

1) Full cache clear (complete game settings reset).bat - a standard cache clear (deletes the SpinTires MudRunner folder located at \AppData\Roaming\), works from any location - just run it.

2) Cache clear (without resetting game settings).bat - clears only the game cache (does not touch user settings), works from any location - just run it.

3) Clear Media folder and cache.bat - my own creation: needs to be placed in the game folder; when run, it deletes the Media folder with all its contents and creates a clean Media folder + clears only the game cache (does not touch user settings).
Convenient for testing mods on a clean version of the game without having to configure the game each time.

All files operate automatically - just run and done :)

Correct dirt version 2 for Spintires: MudRunner (v18/05/21)

Brings the behavior of dirt in the game closer to reality.

Now, if you fly into the mud at full speed, respectively, mud splashes heavily stain the car, when slipping and driving through mud on high gear as well, but to a lesser extent, well, etc., depending on the selected speed mode.
The mud splashes themselves and their physics have been made more realistic, ridiculous lumps on wheels have been removed (thanks to Soul Reaver for that) and dry small hard lumps flying out from under the wheels, only slush has been left, its intensity has been increased at gears 1+ and higher.
Pollution on cars now has volume, which also adds realism.

I recommend using it with the following additions, it will greatly darken the visual effects of the new dirt:
SweetFX graphics improvement
Always the sun+Fog Reduction+Blue sky
Removing graphics noise

To work in multiplayer:
Do not install SweetFX. Use SpinTiresMod.exe with the original files in the game disabled.

Installation:
In case you don't like it, the archives of the game Media, MeshCache, TextureCache copy and save in a separate folder.
Copy files from the downloaded archive to the game archives, agreeing to a replacement.

Update 18/05/21 for SpinTires: MudRunner

Today the developers released a small (yeah, right – editorial note) update for SpinTires: MudRunner – this update is required for the DLC The Ridge, which will be released tomorrow.
The DLC is currently planned to be released on May 29 at 3 PM UTC.

Changelog:
- New game mode – Scavenging.
- New map – The Ridge.
- New vehicles – UMZ 6A and MAZ 538.

Improvements:
- Locked trucks are now covered with tarpaulin.
- Wheel physics improved (wheels are now softer).
- Loaders and cranes are now more powerful and move more smoothly.
- Automatic transmission improvements.
- Game stability improvements related to mods (fixed errors due to memory limitations).
- The in-game mod browser now displays mod information.
- Various other fixes.

If you don’t want to update to the new version of SpinTires: MudRunner, for example due to mod compatibility, you can select the branch ver_18_03_06 in the game’s properties under the beta tab.

And now the most interesting part – with the new DLC, license holders can play it right now! However, if you launch the game as usual, you won’t see the new content. But if you launch the game through SpinTiresMod.exe version 1.7.1, although the game version will be shown as old, all the new content will be available in the game!

Mesh Converter version 1.0.0 for Spintires: MudRunner

MeshConvert - a mesh editor for the Spintires format (those in MeshCache or _m)
MeshConvert saves ST game meshes for different game versions.
But not all meshes can be converted correctly; it is preferable to use the original X-meshes (with the .x file extension).
Also, MeshConvert can be used to edit the mesh XML.

Usage:
With this program, you can convert vehicles from the 03.03.16 version, specifically cached mesh files, to MudRunner.
Important! Don’t forget to then distribute all texture and model files into the necessary folders (which should be created beforehand): meshes go into the _m folder, and textures into the _t folder, accordingly. And provided the vehicle config in classes/trucks is correct, taking into account the new requirements for wheels and steering response. Also, the correct config for the wheels themselves in classes/wheels. The vehicle will appear in the game, though without drive shafts, as mentioned by the user above. Difficult? Possibly for some. But those familiar with the subject will figure it out.
How to use: unpack the downloaded executable into any folder. Double-click it, and in the window that appears, at the very bottom above the Load and Save buttons, select the path to the desired model (vehicle, addon), open the mesh, then click Load, and after that Save. A file with the _converted suffix will appear next to the model in the folder. This will be the finished mesh. Delete the old one, remove the suffix from the filename. That’s it.

"Valley" is a completely new and free expansion releasing on PC, PS4, and Xbox early this year. This first expansion will include entirely new game content with three new vehicles and a new map. Similar to the "Flood" map, you will start outside the garage, which must be unlocked first.

Vehicle Description:
The second 8x8 vehicle to be added to Spintires: MudRunner. The E-7429 is another incredibly powerful vehicle with some hidden talents.

Specifications:
The E-7429 has an 800-liter fuel tank and is equipped with all-wheel drive as well as a differential lock. It can sustain up to 600 damage points. It will be unlocked immediately on the "Valley" map but requires 5 progress points on other maps.

Advantages:
The E-7429 is an excellent vehicle for traversing difficult terrain and can tow any vehicle. It can also handle any heavy loads.

Disadvantages:
The E-7429 is very fuel-hungry and not the fastest vehicle. Its lack of speed is compensated by its power.

Add-ons:
The E-7429 is a powerful vehicle and therefore carries important equipment for rescuing vehicles from difficult terrain. It is also the largest vehicle capable of towing trailers, making it a very useful service vehicle.

Garage Semi-Trailer – transports 4 garage points
Garage Trailer – trailer with two garage points.
Spare Wheel – for vehicle repairs.
Logging Platform – can carry medium logs.

Mr.BoS and STMods.ru Best Map Contest 2018

Friends, hello everyone! On the Mr.BoS channel and on the STMods.ru website, as well as with the participation of everyone who cares about this game, a joint contest for the BEST MAP of 2018 is being held! Any map maker can participate in the contest. The main condition is that the map must be at least 32x32 in size and must be new (not a conversion from an old version of the game) and not publicly available. It is welcomed if you specify which mods are recommended for playing the map. Everything else is up to the discretion and imagination of the map makers.

The prize fund is 7000 rubles. Participation in the contest is free. You must submit an application to participate on the STMods.ru website by leaving a comment under this post. The last day to submit a map for the contest is May 3, 2018. Send the map for review and the contest via private message on VK or Discord or any other convenient way either to Mr.BoS (Alexander Zadorin on VK) or Alexey Sinev.

All maps that enter the contest will be tested and played through on the Mr.BoS channel. After playing them, voting will be held on the STMods.ru website and in the Mr.BoS VK group. All votes will be counted and taken into account.

After the voting, all maps will be made publicly available and uploaded by the map authors to the STMods.ru website. The maps will be played under code names (for example 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.). The map authors will also be revealed only after the voting to minimize biased voting. We do this to make the voting as objective and fair as possible. Authors who try to campaign during the voting will be disqualified.
The voting period is 1 week after all maps have been played through!

2nd place - 2000
3rd place - 1000
Additional prize from Mr.BoS - the game ETS2 as a gift at his discretion.

Update 02.04.18:
Voting procedure: depending on the number of participants, we randomly divide them into groups of 4-5 maps. Within a week, we play through (or simply review) all the maps in the group. At the beginning of the next week after reviewing all the maps in the group, a (one-week) vote starts to choose the best map from that group. At the same time, maps from the next group are shown, with voting for them starting at the beginning of the following week, and so on until all maps have been reviewed.
After all maps have been reviewed and group votes held, a final vote is created, with participants being the maps that won their weekly votes. The results of this vote will determine the best map!

We remind you that during the stream of a contest map, no viewer (not even the author) is allowed to reveal either the name or, especially, the author of the map. Otherwise, the map will be excluded from the contest.

Update 12.05.18: at the request of voters - maps that made it to the final vote will be made publicly available during the voting period without author attribution, so voters can try out each map before voting.
