September has come to an end. As always, the SnowRunner developers have provided a summary of the changes for September, as well as information about upcoming updates. 
Changes in September
The biggest change in September was the update adding the Rostov region, which many players have come to love, judging by the feedback. At the beginning of September, a seasonal pass was released, which added a lot of interesting content to the game, including the new region.
Equally important, the developers added crossplay between different PC platforms: Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store, to be precise. This is very important since players complained that they couldn’t play with their friends because the games were purchased from different stores. The problem has been partially resolved.
A little later in September, a small add-on called Jeep Dual Pack was released, which added cool jeeps designed specifically for off-roading, and in SnowRunner, almost every location is difficult to traverse. 
Updates, music, and more
Unfortunately, in this release, the developers provided very little information about upcoming updates, but at least they shared something. Work on the sixth season pass is actively ongoing. As is known, in the sixth season, players will be able to visit a new American region. Additionally, new special vehicles will be added. We will wait for the developers to provide more information.
Work on improving the quality of SnowRunner for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles is also actively continuing. Besides standard improvements, the developers are working on full crossplay for next-generation consoles, a 60 frames-per-second mode, and other enhancements. It is unclear when all this will be available. 
Work on the technical side of the game for both consoles and PC is also actively ongoing. By mid-October, the developers will release a patch that fixes a number of serious (and less serious) bugs. The patch is named 15.1.
On a less exciting note, the developers published an eight-hour SnowRunner soundtrack video on YouTube. According to them, this background music is perfect for relaxing, driving, or even studying if you want pleasant music playing in the background! 
And the last news for today. SnowRunner will be presented at the annual AUSA Annual Meeting (October 11-13). With that, the interesting news about this game comes to an end. 

A small update 15.1 has been released for all available platforms on SnowRunner, where the developers fixed a number of serious (and not so serious) issues reported by players. Let’s take a look at the patch changes.
General changes
Due to a bug, the user interface could previously disappear during the tutorial if the player tried to change graphics settings. The bug has been fixed.Another bug occurred while using crane mode. Now the following functions will be available in this mode: exiting winch control, selecting winch points (more precisely, switching them).There was an annoying bug in the “Don” region that prevented loading logs in the corresponding area. This will no longer happen.Fixed bugs related to synchronization errors.There was an issue where information about a missing mod appeared only after the level was already loaded, causing players to waste their time waiting. This was also fixed in patch 15.1.Another fix related to mods. If players tried to join a host who had mods, they were unable to subscribe to more than 3 mods simultaneously. Now it is possible.The function menu now disappears immediately upon activating and using the winch.Fixed a visual bug where smoke from the exhaust of various vehicles disappeared instantly.Another synchronization fix. This time the issue was related to the so-called “fog of war,” which could fail to synchronize between participants in the same session. Now everything works correctly.Other minor but useful fixes. 
Vehicles
Tatra Force. The vehicle received improved behavior.The Jeep Wrangler received improved engine sounds.Caterpillar 745C received fixes for minor description issues.Now the low and high saddle models for the CT681 vehicle are different. Due to a bug, they were previously identical.Changes to the wheel collision of vehicles towed by the tow truck add-on.

SnowRunner continues to actively develop. A new patch has been released for the public test server. Version – 16.1. There you can fully enjoy the sixth season of the subscription, as well as see a number of improvements and fixes. Let’s get started!
General innovations
Finally, the long-awaited release of the sixth part of the seasonal subscription with two new large-scale maps: Lowlands and Yellowstone National Park. 17 additional vehicles received a medium log transport addon. Among these vehicles are the Pacific P12W, Royal BM17, International HX 520, etc.In total, you will have access to 10 new stickers for decorating vehicles.A number of new trailers for scouts.If you love taking beautiful photos in the game – great news. Now a photo mode is available on all platforms, allowing you to customize everything down to the smallest detail and create truly beautiful pictures. You have a range of tools, including a free camera, so you can take very beautiful shots in SnowRunner.The Freightliner M916A1 vehicle received an improved transmission.CAT770G received an upgraded winch.The Derry Longhorn 4520 now has a new higher-quality engine.DAN 96320 now has active suspension.If a truck is compatible with any special addons like a tow truck – you will find this information in the store and can check compatibility before purchase.Players now have the ability to preview various vehicles and regions added by paid DLCs that they do not own.The custom scenarios menu now includes the ability to switch between difficulties: normal and hard.Other innovations.
Co-op changes
There was a bug in the game. When a player tried to join a session with a limited number of players, an incorrect message appeared. This will no longer happen.Now the icons of other players in the co-op interface display correctly. Previously, they either displayed incorrectly or did not display at all.Fixed a bug with collision of unpacked cargo, when it could fly away or get stuck. This will no longer happen.
Vehicles
Tatra Force T815-7 received improved interior glass textures.Jeep Renegade received additional mounting points for the winch, previously there were too few.Some stickers caused a bug with upgrade color mismatch on vehicles. The bug has been fixed.A number of fixes related to accessories (getting stuck, incorrectly displayed textures, overlapping stickers, and so on).  Now, if the canisters on the repair parts rack are empty, they disappear. Fixed some unnatural and unrealistic suspension behavior on the Western Star 49X and CAT CT681.
Mods
A special button has been added to the mods menu that allows you to instantly remove absolutely all content of an installed mod, completely clearing the game of that mod with just one click.Modders have been given the ability to reload a modified truck directly in the garage.The long-awaited feature has been added – requirements for other mods. Thus, if a map author adds requirements in the form of mods that must be installed to play, the player will receive a notification, be able to download everything, and only then launch the map with all the aforementioned requirements met.Another feature for modders. If a player is playing in hard mode, modders can set individual prices for fuel and repair zones to either make the game harder or easier.Support for custom employer icons and names has been added. 
Other fixes
A number of bug fixes related to log transportation.The camera near the logging semi-trailer will no longer jerk.Fixed a bug with log transportation when moving between different maps/locations.Players now have the option to restore default settings if they use a steering wheel. Previously, due to a bug, this function simply did not work.A number of other minor fixes and improvements that make the game better. 

Great news for SnowRunner owners on the Epic Games Store. A small update has been added to the public test server for this platform, introducing a new truck and other changes. Full list of changes:
 ⁃ A brand new truck - Taiga 6445B. ⁃ Minor changes and improvements to the photo mode in the PTS. ⁃ Slight localization adjustments. ⁃ Fixes for some issues in the new maps.
The screenshot shows a small hint at the new vehicle that will be added very soon.

Great news for SnowRunner players. The release date for Season 6 is already known, so very soon you will be able to visit a new US state – Maine, with two new maps, new vehicles, new features, and new customization details. New region, new vehicles
Visit a completely new region where real challenges await you, as the terrain is quite diverse. This is a winter region featuring both snow and deep mud. You will enter the forests of this state, where you will have an important task – restoring and upgrading the logging base. There will be a garage, but without some standard functions (these will need to be unlocked). Refueling and repair functions are absent in the garage. 
You will be able to conquer the new maps with the help of two incredible new trucks – the 8x8 Aramastu Forwarder and the Taiga 6455B (a six-wheeled off-roader). 
Free update
Of course, there is also free content. You have been waiting for this for a long time, and very soon crossplay between PC and PlayStation 4 will appear in the game. But that’s not all. The developers are working on crossplay for Xbox as well, so that option will be available soon.
Do you love taking photos? On December 7, a photo mode will be available to all players, where you can apply various visual effects and gain access to a free camera, allowing you to take incredible screenshots.
There are also new modules and skins. The skins were created for the top 10 best SnowRunner trucks according to players (based on statistics).

The 6th season for SnowRunner has been released. It’s time to learn more about all the changes in patch 16.0, which introduced quite a few updates – ranging from maps and vehicles to various addons, improvements, and fixes.
Main innovations, gameplay features, vehicles
New maps added in the Maine region (2 maps in total);New vehicles and trailers (3 in total);An addon allowing the transportation of medium-sized logs has been added for 17 vehicles.A new version of the ANK MK38 vehicle has been added;New skins added for various vehicles (Taiga 6436, Kolob 74760, Ford F750, Azov64131). A full photo mode has been added for those who love taking beautiful shots. In SnowRunner’s photo mode, you can adjust various settings such as photo saturation, time of day, and weather. Consequently, you can create truly cool screenshots under the conditions you want. Naturally, there is also a free camera mode for photo mode.“Content Library” – a new section where you can view purchased DLCs.Now there is an option to preview trucks and maps added by DLCs that you don’t own. This feature will help you decide whether you want to buy the DLC or not.
Vehicles: improvements and fixes
The CAT770G now has an upgradeable winch.The DAN96320 received active suspension.The M916A1 truck now has a more advanced transmission.The Derry Longhorn 4520 received a new engine.Now, if your vehicle is in a construction zone and obstructing task completion, you will receive a notification.When browsing trucks in the store, you will see whether they are compatible with seismic vibrators and other equipment.Repair part canisters now correctly disappear when empty (for T815-7).The Renegade Jeep now has more attachment points for winches.Many vehicles received a number of visual improvements and minor fixes.Fixed a bug with the “Dreamcatcher” accessory. Co-op mode
Previously, there was a bug where attempting to join a co-op session with limited player slots showed an incorrect message.Now, when playing cross-platform, players will correctly see other players’ icons in the interface.Fixed a bug with unpacked cargo in multiplayer, where it would disappear, get stuck, or even fly away. 
Log transportation
Fixed an issue with the Log Carrier addon where the auto-loading function would load logs on top of already loaded and unpacked logs.Fixed a bug where long logs ended up outside trailers after switching between maps. There was a camera jitter issue when transporting logs. This will no longer happen.
Mods
Now there is an option to delete all mod content at once if you want to completely remove all files.A useful feature has been added for modders to reload a modified vehicle directly in the garage.Another feature has been added for modders that will greatly simplify life for regular users. If a mod, for example a map, requires certain trucks available on modio, they can be specified and set as dependencies (requirements). In this case, the player will be able to automatically subscribe to all required mods and start playing.Modders can now set prices for fuel and repairs for use in hardcore mode.The Addons_List.xlsx file with the list of all addons has been updated.Settings for long logs have been updated.Other minor changes.
Miscellaneous
