An update 4.7, Hotfix 30.04.2020 has been released for SnowRunner. The update is only for the PC version of the game. Various aspects of the game were affected, and fixes were made.

Physics:
- There was a bug in the game where trucks would inexplicably fall through textures, underground. The bug has been fixed.

GUI:
- Fixed errors related to the game's translation.
- Some gameplay issues and mod problems have been fixed.
- HUD elements will no longer appear when skipping the tutorial in the garage.

Co-op:
- Connection settings have been improved for easier use.
- You can receive game invitations even if you are already in a cooperative game.
- Now, when launching the game, you can always see the friends list. However, after returning to the menu, the bug may reoccur. Developers are working on a fix.

Devices:
- Fixes have been made for the Logitech G29 wheel: Force Feedback. Now, when pressing Alt + Tab (minimize), the device does not disconnect.

The developers also released a new video showcasing the Chevrolet CK1500.

The developers have published a list of all the new content for the seasonal pass.

For players with the seasonal pass:

The developers shared information about the content they are currently working on. The game was warmly received by both critics and players, and the developers are working hard on improvements and additional content for SnowRunner.

First of all, the developers expressed their gratitude to the players for their kind words and confirmed that they are monitoring all feedback and responding promptly to fix game bugs. Last week, a hotfix was released that fixed a large number of errors and bugs.

Developers' Plans

There are still many different kinds of errors and bugs in the game, and the developers fully understand this. These bugs affect both PC and consoles. First, the developers announced that another hotfix will be released this week, which will fix various errors: multiplayer issues, cargo duplication, and other bugs. The hotfix will be released for PC. For PS4, they promised to fix the issue with sudden crashes.

The SnowRunner developers also said that they are well aware of other bugs. For example, they specifically mentioned the save-related bug and issues with completing various missions. They know about all of this but cannot yet say when these bugs will be fixed.

Additionally, they shared information about other hotfixes as well as the first major update, but one thing at a time. First, there will be hotfixes for all platforms released gradually. Second, they are currently working on implementing steering wheel support in the game.

And most importantly – in a few weeks, there will be a major update. What will be in this update? Lots of free content, a new map (the fourth map of Taimyr), various skins. For some consoles, the major update will include a 4K texture pack, working rearview mirrors will be implemented, and much more!

Another SnowRunner update is now available for PC. The development team continues to work diligently on all the bugs reported by players. This applies to all platforms.

One of the issues causing crashes on PS4 is still being fixed.

Fixes

Multiplayer:
- Additional fixes for the friends list and invitations. Not complete yet.

Cargo:
- Partial fix for the cargo duplication issue.

Miscellaneous:
- Additional fixes for crashes, collisions, user interface, and localization.

The developers announced that this week they plan to release a major update for all platforms, which will fix issues with crashes and annoying connection drops in online play on PS4. Problems with collisions, cargo, and missions will be addressed. A full list of changes will be published later.

Moreover, in a few weeks, another major update with new free content is planned. The fourth map of Taimyr, working mirrors on consoles, interregional cooperative play (Michigan-Alaska-Taimyr), and other exciting updates.

The developers have released a new update v4.0 (1.0.4) on all available platforms. Various issues have been fixed along with game crashes on PS4.

PC - Cooperative Mode
- Fixed an issue with cargo duplication.
- Fixed an issue with the main menu disappearing or freezing during game entry.
- Fixed cases where trucks overlapped without collision.
- Fixed incorrect display of names in the friends list.

PC - Game Stability
- Numerous stability improvements.

PC - Miscellaneous
- Fixed various crashes and game freezes.
- Fixed many rendering bugs.
- Fixed localization bugs.


Consoles - Cooperative Mode
- Fixed a bug with game invitations.
- Fixed an issue where the game host would freeze when a guest left if the host was changing the map with the guest’s vehicle.

Consoles - Game Stability
- Fixed a major rendering issue causing game crashes (PS4).

Consoles - Miscellaneous
- Fixed additional crashes and game freezes.
- Fixed issues with headlights and brake lights.
- Fixed terrain on some maps.


List of known bugs currently being worked on:
- Duplicate trucks in saves if the save file path contains non-Latin characters/letters.
- Black screen when opening the map.
- Smithville Dam: issue with truck duplication/disappearance.
- Trucks disappear or get stuck on every single-player load.
- Player vehicles falling through the ground in multiplayer.
- If you created a multiplayer game, you may lose your truck if you exit the game on the loading screen (e.g., when switching to another map).
