Finally, the long-awaited update for SnowRunner has been released, called "Imandra." The update added a large amount of various interesting content, a big map, and much more.
New "Imandra" Content
- A new large snowy map has been added. The map is located in the Kola Peninsula region and is called Imandra.
- A new vehicle has been added – the TUZ 108 Warthog truck.
- The existing TUZ 166 truck received a new skin.
- A new semi-trailer in the form of a platform has been added, notable for its width.
- A metal detector has been added – a completely new module required for completing some tasks.
- A new figurine in the form of a dog.
- Challenges have been added, which take place on separate maps and reward players with various prizes (figurines).
- It is now possible to modify the interior. Moreover, modders have also gained the ability to change interiors, so mods for interiors of various vehicles will start appearing soon.
- New contracts are available in Michigan.
Game Improvements
- All scouts except the TUZ 420 Tatarin now have a crane attachment point. The point is located on the roof.
- Player profiles now include information about the locations of the player’s vehicles.
- Contracts and missions can now be reloaded/replayed in multiplayer mode.
- Dirt shaders have been improved.
- The Derry Longhorn 3194 received active suspension.
- Improved steering for the Freightliner m916a1.
- Improved turning angle for the Western Star 6900 TwinSteer.
Consoles
- Support has been added for Thrustmaster T150, T-GT, TX, and Logitech Driving Force Shifter.
- Performance on PlayStation 4 has been improved when driving on ice.
- Draw distance for rocks has been improved.
Steering Wheels
- Now, using Logitech G920/G29, the camera can be controlled with the D-pad.
- Input method hints are now displayed.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the counter in the store interface.
- The bug with insufficient containers during the "containers in the river" mission has been fixed.
- Fixed the exhaust model on the Cat 745C.
- When using the Khan Marshall, specifically the spare parts boxes, they now correctly disappear from the vehicle.
- Fixed snorkel on the Azov Antarctic.
- The winch pull command can now be reassigned.
- Voron Grad, Voron D-53233, and Tayga 6436 received a fix for front wheel positioning.
- The Russian heavy crane now synchronizes correctly in multiplayer.
- Fixed a bug with physics simulation disabling for objects. This bug occurred when objects were far from the player, causing items, including player vehicles, to get stuck in textures.
- Wheels no longer sink into rock textures.
- Fixed snorkel on the Royal BM17.
- Minor decorative fixes for Kolob 74941 (visor, tachometer needle).
- Deleting a custom scenario now completely removes save data.
- Vehicles now have fixed prices, eliminating the bug with price discrepancies.
- Snow no longer flickers on the railroad.
- Items no longer “fly away” from the player when passing nearby.
- The global map now displays correct information about the player’s vehicles.
Modding
- Truck mods can now be used not only in single-player but also in co-op.
- When attempting to join a game with mods, the system will automatically install the required mods for the guest.
- It is now possible to choose which game to start: the base game or with mods. Thus, if mods are installed, you can still start the base game.
- Custom assets can now be added to maps, opening new possibilities for map creators.
- Gameplay zones can now be configured (placing garages, contracts, and much more).
- Custom map data from the editor will automatically update when returning to the main menu.
- Mod loading speed via mod.io subscription has been improved.
- New broken vehicles have been added to the polygon maps, making it much easier for modders to test repair modules.
