DLC American Wilds - Free! (Proper Installation) vx32/x64 for Spintires: MudRunner (v25.02.21)

The method is old, but not everyone, as I see, still knows about it! (and that's somewhat good).

Installation:
Copy the contents into the game folder with replacement! (not into the Media folder or System32 folder, but where the game's .EXE is located)
(In the Steam library\ in the DLC list - it will not appear for you, but Steam will think it is purchased).

If anyone is interested in how this works - google the words: CreamApi Steam

!!!Please - do not shout about this on all forums!!!

Winter for Mapmakers version 3.1 for Spintires: MudRunner (v14.08.19)

Greetings, gentlemen, this texture and configuration pack is intended for map makers. I got tired of slogging through the mud and decided to try changing the textures for myself. I showed it to people, they liked it, I tried it myself and really enjoyed it. It felt something unusual yet familiar, since I live in the central part of Russia. I shared it with a friend, and he said, "Let's try to make better textures." He helped with the textures, and here is the result.

1) First of all, I changed the textures of the material and extruder, and many other textures responsible for mud in the game. (Snow)

2) I changed the exhaust, added more delay time for exhaust gases, made the exhaust emit white smoke at idle, and more white smoke when the vehicle is moving—after all, it’s freezing. I had the idea to implement warming up over time, but haven’t found a solution yet; for example, the longer the vehicle runs, the less white smoke there is.

3) Added materials for map makers—various overlays, etc... (Winter)

4) Removed clumps (mud and snow chunks). They were taken from here. They are included in the archive and can be left unchanged; the look is a matter of personal taste.

5) Vehicles get dirtier with snow.

6) Added ambient sounds for day and night, including creaking trees, singing winter birds, wind, wolves, dogs, etc. The mud sounds were redone to snow creaking. I’m not a pro, but it looks pretty good.

7) Slightly reworked the physics, specifically for the mud))) Yes, yes, don’t be too harsh on me for it, since you can choose not to install it and not offer it to players along with your map. Believe me, it won’t worsen the experience without it; in fact, I’d say it’s even more hardcore. I lightened it by reducing resistance and adding depth to the mud, which is now snow, plus other minor tweaks. Snow is lighter than mud, so I made that decision. This is still being tested. You can skip installing the file responsible for mud physics—again, it won’t harm you. The file is "media.xml".

8) Added falling snow. To activate the snowfall, simply send a signal to the engine when it’s off, and then turn it off again.

9) There is an installer for the client exe, author - evgen70 rus.
Example path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Spintires MudRunner
It replaces Config, replaces cache, backs up the config, creates a "mod removal" folder on the desktop, and restores everything to its original state!

You can download the auto-installer here.

I recommend using this mod together with the pack from Dmitry Chesnokov (Dimon64rus).

Regarding the extruder, gentlemen, I would like to hear your opinion, as it was very difficult to select and balance the color. How would you have done it? And what do you feel is missing? I’m ready to discuss it here with you. There are many options, but one thing interferes with another logically, so you have to find the golden mean.

Installation:
Add TextureCache.zip in the editor for visibility.
Replace Media with the material for maps if you already have an older version.
Installation: On a clean game client, add the contents of the "Winter Mod" folder to the game directory! Replace Config.xml.
Remember, everything depends only on you. Do it as you want, don’t be afraid to raise the landscape, make snowdrifts, smear snowdrifts—really go all out however you want. I’m making a map myself; yes, it’s harder now, no doubt, but it’s rewarding )))) GOOD LUCK!!!
