Farming Simulator 17 Platinum Edition, the ultimate version of Farming Simulator 17, is now available!

The DLC Platinum Expansion became available on Steam on November 14 for 949 rubles.

In addition to the vast amount of content in Farming Simulator 17, the Platinum Edition offers many new features showcased in today’s release trailer!

This new video invites you to explore the South American game location, a breath of fresh air thanks to a complete change of scenery and greater gameplay opportunities for Farming Simulator players than ever before!

More than 280 units of authentic farming machines and equipment from over 80 manufacturers, making this version truly the most complete version of Farming Simulator 17. It includes brands from AGCO (Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, and Valtra), as well as new brands exclusive to the Platinum Edition, such as Stara, TT, Randon, FMŻ, and Gessner Industries.

Harvest crops, care for your livestock, engage in forestry, transport products using trucks, trailers, and trains, then sell these goods to expand your farm. Develop your farm online with other players and download community-created mods for continuously expanding gameplay!

ROPA Pack DLC for PC/Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One...

Farming Simulator 17 will soon expand further as the long list of well-known manufacturers is joined by the ROPA brand.
The ROPA Pack brings six new vehicles and pieces of equipment to the game, creating an even more exciting gameplay experience.
The DLC will be available on March 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC/Mac.

PC players will also be able to purchase these new vehicles and equipment at retail, as the ROPA DLC is part of the Official Expansion 2 DVD box. The package includes the ready-to-use ROPA Pack and two DLCs already released for the game, giving players access to 38 additional vehicles and pieces of equipment for Farming Simulator 17 and Farming Simulator 17 Platinum Edition:

For PC players who enjoy creating and adding their own content to the game, Farming Simulator 17 Official Expansion 2 also includes two eBooks (PDF) titled “Modding Simulator for Dummies” and “The Art of Modding,” as well as a series of tutorial videos showing how to create your mods step by step. Create your own vehicles, machines, fields, sites... and share your masterpieces with the community.

The ROPA Pack DLC will be available for digital download on PC/MAC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One starting March 13, 2018. The DLC is also included in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Season Pass offer.

The ROPA Pack DLC will also be included in Official Expansion 2, the physical retail package for PC.

The Farming Simulator series returns this year with an upgraded graphics engine, offering the brightest and most immersive visual effects to date, as well as the deepest and most comprehensive farming experience on consoles and PC.

Farming Simulator 19 will launch with three separate open worlds where you can develop and expand your farm, solo or with friends: two entirely new environments will be revealed soon, along with a fully enhanced version of the South American environment, which has been revamped to take advantage of the new engine’s capabilities.

With the addition of new brands, the Farming Simulator 19 garage will feature the most extensive vehicle list ever. The game will also introduce new types of agricultural activities, new animals including horses, completely new mechanics, and new crops – details will be revealed over the coming months and future events.

For Farming Simulator 19, the developers made many improvements to the engine (GIANTS Engine), and the result is impressive. Many changes, especially in the so-called post-processing. High Dynamic Range (HDR) rendering allows displaying the full spectrum of colors simultaneously, the addition of Bloom makes light emission more realistic, thanks to SSAO all objects in the game now cast their own shadows, which will look realistic thanks to the new light scattering technique. The sun in the new dynamic sky now serves as a light source, and the clouds, which are now voxel-based 3D objects, reflect light incredibly realistically.

Finally, the game developers also made some improvements to surface textures. Various surfaces now not only look much more realistic but also react differently to light falling on them and reflect light more or less strongly depending on the material.

There were many technical terms here, but we are more interested in seeing with our own eyes how it looks as a result. Therefore, the developers show us the first two screenshots comparing FS17 and FS19.

The screenshots were taken at the same time of day, in the same place. The Estancia Lapacho mod is used, which will be included in FS17 Platinum Edition and FS19.

The developers note that it is still in a very early Alpha phase, so not all FS19 screenshots are final. Some changes will follow in further development.

Exactly 10 years ago, on April 14, 2008, the success story of the Farming Simulator series began. From the very start, the first game in the series appealed to players and thus became a hit almost overnight. This marked the beginning of our still young company GIANTS Software and was the first step on the path to success.

Only four people worked on the first game in the series, and two of them, our CEO Christian Ammann and our Technical Director Stefan Geiger, two of the founders of GIANTS Software, would like to tell you about this journey in a short video today.

We would like to thank all our players for their loyalty. Ten years of Farming Simulator would never have been possible without all of you, because no game lives without its community. Our modders and players, our fans and streamers / YouTubers will always be part of the Farming Simulator family.

The developers are excited to finally introduce the long-awaited John Deere brand, which will join the largest vehicle lineup in the history of Farming Simulator.

Farming Simulator 19 takes a big step forward with the most extensive vehicle roster the franchise has ever had!
