Default-Plus Texture Pack version 1.0 for Spintires: MudRunner (v14.08.19)

I present to your attention a mod for changing textures in the game MudRunner. These are textures and model meshes that I have gone through, reworked, and compiled into one package to slightly improve the game's visuals. But how much better or worse it turned out is up to you to decide individually; I made it for myself and my monitor, considering saturation and contrast. Everyone is free to choose what to use, what to replace, or to reject it altogether. I gathered it from various sources: the internet, similar games, other authors.

Briefly about the mod:

Many textures will already be familiar to you, and you have probably gone through them more than once; many of them are larger in size than the originals, so if you have a weak PC, proceed with caution or don't try it at all. The mod includes weather XML files for weather, which you can replace with your own or delete entirely and stay with the default, but some textures are linked to them, so handle everything wisely.

Folders with XML files, overlays, particles, plants should also be handled carefully, as textures and meshes are linked to them as well. Many will ask about compatibility with other mods and multiplayer; I tested it on default without multiplayer and mods, so everyone tries to combine it for themselves. Regarding Adega_mod, since many use it, mix at your discretion, but make sure files do not overwrite or overlap, or else it will become a mess that no one can figure out.

Meshes will also replace some default ones; they include new trees, bushes, stones, grass, which seemed a bit better than the default ones, taken from Spintires. There are some minor issues with the trees that I can't solve yet: they are planted slightly higher than I would like, which makes the roots look a bit unattractive. I let it go as much as I could, and the trees are slightly taller than the default ones, which causes shadows not to match the original ones set during map creation. The stones are also new and may bug a little, but after reducing their weight, they seem fine; it depends on luck, but you can reduce the weight further. There may be drawbacks; I tested it alone, and the log shows only one error on env_mud_particle, which blocks mud chunks on the wheels. It is from Spintires, so a version error will appear.

It's very tricky with mud, its color, and saturation. For now, it is as is; there are two different types: autumn and summer. The stakes are also taken from Spintires. I prefer them this way rather than mud flakes with sharp edges. I tried very hard to match the coatings by color, contrast, and saturation, but much depends on the map creators. In general, what is there is what is there; it suits me, and I think you will like it too. Test it to your taste!

(Test system: GeForce 2060s video card, i5 8600 6-core processor, 2k monitor, FPS holds at 75, just for your information whether to download or not.)

Thanks to the authors whose materials were also used: Naor Levi, Adega, Saber Interactive, Oovee, and maybe others I don't know.

Installation:

1. Download the mod.
2. Then there are several options. Either unpack and distribute by folders, or do not unpack and copy it into the mod manager in SpMod and activate it, setting priority as you see fit; everyone’s installation is individual and depends on how they handle game files.

The last and second-to-last screenshots are comparisons with the default. The screenshots were taken with ReShade and all in-game settings disabled except SSAO; without ReShade, I see no point since almost everyone uses it.

Semi-Trailer 2/4/8 Loading Points version 06.09.20 for Spintires: MudRunner (v14.08.19)

Designed for the standard coupling.

Has: 100 liters of fuel and 200 repair points.
Loading:
- slabs for 2 points (4 short logs);
- bricks for 4 points (3 medium logs);
- beams for 8 points (2 long logs).

For the mod to work correctly, installation of SpinTiresMod.exe version 1.10.5 is required.

Map "LLC Disaster" version 1.0 for Spintires: MudRunner (v07.08.19)

Hello everyone! This is my first work in map making. Please don’t judge strictly, so to speak, I was exploring just the tip of the iceberg.

I want to give a huge thanks to Alexey Pchelkin for the help with Mudrunner Editor, as well as for testing the map on stream.

On the map:
- 1 closed garage;
- 5 sawmills;
- 2 loading points (no auto loading);
- 1 gas station;
- 2 replaceable vehicles at the start + 1 random one.

A Maz 6317 has a hitch installed, so you can attach the garage trailer.

Ford F-250 Series Crewcab 1978 version 1.0 for Spintires: MudRunner (v07.08.19)

Quality proven by time — this is how this model can be briefly described. After all, if consumer interest has not declined at all over such a period, it can only confirm one thing — the product is reliable and capable of satisfying even the most demanding customers.

The series of legendary pickups from a well-known car company was introduced to the public back in 1957. At that time, the Ford F-250 was meant to replace the no less legendary F-2. This model turned out to be not just long-lasting — to this day, the number of people wanting to own a creation of this famous brand continues to grow.

Model features:
1) High-quality HQ interior and exterior;
2) Proper driver seating, comfortable game camera;
3) Correctly configured collision;
4) Functional steering wheel, just like in the original vehicles;
5) Correct functionality of all lighting;
6) Realistic chrome;
7) Original proportions of the car;

P.S. Due to a crashed Windows system, all original files of the car and addons were lost, so there is no way to further update the current version. + teaser of upcoming mods.

Military Ural Pack (Alligator and Typhoon) - 3 Colors v1 for Spintires: MudRunner (v07.08.19)

The pack includes:
Ural Alligator (an improved version of the mod) with 3 colors to choose from, featuring 10 custom and 19 default addons, capable of carrying 3,4,3+3,6,3+4 cargo points.
Ural Typhoon (the second version of my previous mod) with 3 colors to choose from, featuring 9 custom and 20 default addons, capable of carrying 3,4,3+3,6,3+4 cargo points.


Ural Alligator changes compared to the original:

- Repainted truck, addons, and cargo, 3 colors to choose from;
- Replaced and repainted wheels, taken from the mod (color depends on the selected main color);

- Suspension retuned;
- Steering adjusted closer to default;
- Increased fuel tank capacity (from 460 to 600);
- Added brake activation delay;
- Engine power increased by 10%;
- Corrected fuel tank contours with fuel animation;
- Reduced excessive water ingress level;
- Removed instrument panel sign;
- Reduced vertical first-person camera tilt angle;
- Reduced cabin sway;
- Redesigned lighting on the truck and trailer (adjusted light and lamp positions, added new lights and illumination);
- Adjusted positions of custom and default addons and cargo;
- Removed platform with crane, crane support, Ural fuel tank;
- Added KrAZ fuel tank, MAZ hitch, garage van semi-trailer, medium flatbed trailer;
- For addon a_garazhn.chasti, repair points increased (from 500 to 800), mass reduced, center of gravity balanced;
- For semi-trailer a_tral, wheels centered on axles, now the trailer can detach upon collision, corrected barrel contour with fuel animation, mass increased, fixed spontaneous support extension during loading;
- For cargo a_gruztank, loading points changed (from 4 to 6), as trailer and cargo mass correspond to default 6 points;

Added addons:
- Two types of flashing beacons from mod and mod (reduced rotation speed, color adjusted, synchronized fire and light beam direction);
- Cabin protection and spare tire on the roof from mod;
- Fuel tank behind the cabin from mod (added fuel animation);
- Spare tire behind the cabin from mod, repainted (color depends on the selected main color);
- Trailer from mod (garage points removed, mass reduced, added clearance lights).
- Tow truck replaced with a similar fully functional one (lighting and camera adjusted).


Ural Typhoon version 2, changes compared to version 1

- Texture replaced on reverse lights;
- Mudguards are now black instead of body color;
- Replaced and repainted wheels, taken from mod (color depends on the selected main color);

- Suspension retuned for new wheels, reduced front bounce;
- Corrected fuel tank contours with fuel animation;
- First-person camera moved back (now view is similar to Alligator);
- Removed the ability to spawn the truck;
- Adjusted addon and cargo positions;

Added addons:
- Two types of flashing beacons;
- Fuel tank behind the cabin;
- Spare tire behind the cabin (color depends on the selected main color);
- Trailer from mod (color depends on the selected main color of the Ural Alligator);

- Removed the semi-trailer sorter.


Installation:
The archive contains three folders: "Media", "colors for alligator", "colors for tayfun"
The default color is green.
To install other colors:
- open the folder "colors for alligator" or "colors for tayfun",
- select the folder with the desired color,
- copy the "Media" folder from it over the mod folder, replacing files.
