I decided to remake an old map for winter, but it’s not worth it—too much hassle. It’s easier to make a new one!
“Shibir Winter” —
A continuation of an old forgotten map.
The map’s landscape has practically not changed; I raised the shoulders and fields in places to create snowdrifts, added more forest clearings, complex snowdrifts, and dynamic ice in some spots. Caution! The river hasn’t fully frozen; the ice is thin in places! I tweaked the sawmill a bit. Tested it on everything that moves :D
Attention:
The mod is included in the map archive and is mandatory! Because the map was made for it. Installation couldn’t be simpler: copy it into the game directory, replacing the Config.xml! Want to remove the mod? Just restore the old Config.xml! Winter mod version v 3.0 — I’ll write a description of the winter mod when I update it on the site after testing. I added new features and effects; how this will affect performance is unknown. There may be slowdowns; if that bothers you, disable dynamic snow without leaving the game. “Signal when engine off” — I don’t recommend signaling each other in multiplayer; disable dynamic snow for your friend, as it works based on signal vibrations!
If you have a third-party graphics mod or any other mod installed, you may have problems with Config.xml. It won’t load textures even if you clear the cache. The only fix is reinstalling the game. I have no idea why this happens. This applies to any mod!
On the map:

- 3 Gas stations
- 6 Sawmills
- 1 Logging site + 2 loading points
- 9 Exploration points
- 2 random vehicles (Anything can appear)
- 5 vehicles: Kamaz - 4310 Trailer + Garage parts (closed), Ural-375 (Short version loaded), Ural-375 (closed), Kraz-255 Fuel tanker (closed), Ural-432010 (closed), 4 Kraz-255 (replaceable)
