Work on updates in the PTS continues. Here is another small patch with changes. Let's take a look at them. 
New features:
Trailers are now packed the same way as trucks.A flatbed tow truck platform has been added for a specific list of vehicles: Azov 4220 Antarctica, Azov 5319, Azov 64131, Azov 73210, Cat CT 680, Ford CLT 9000, Freightliner 114SD, Paystar 5070, Transtar 4070A, Pacific P12W, Voron Grad, WS 4964 White, Western Star 49x, KRS 58 Bandit, Pacific P512, Paystar 5600ts, Cat CT 681.The same applies to the mobile flatbed tow truck platform for the following vehicles: Chevrolet Kodiak 70, GMC 9500, International Fleetstar F2070a, Royal BM17, Voron AE4380, Voron D53233, Tatra T813, HX 520.
Other changes:
Minor fixes related to missing icons;Trucks can now be packed into the towing addon for Tatra Force.

The latest minor update has been released for the public test server. Update 15.4 introduces minor changes. Let's take a look at them.
The towing addon for the Tatra Force has been improved.In co-op mode, cargo was not displayed on the map in some missions. This issue has been fixed.Now all contracts (including the "Drilling" contract) are completed correctly.Fixed several addon conflicts. 

The developers announced that the 2nd year of the seasonal pass is starting very soon! The update is scheduled for September 9 and will include many free innovations and fixes.
Four seasons, new vehicles, maps, and activities have been added. Crossplay between different platforms is supported.
Also, a new hilly summer map, two trucks TATRA FORCE and TATRA PHOENIX are already ready for your testing.

August has come to an end. As always, let's summarize the news about game improvements and also discuss what the developers have planned. And they have a lot of interesting things planned. Let's go!
Season 5, second year seasonal pass 
Perhaps we should start with the fifth season pass. The seasonal pass is a major update that brings a lot of interesting content to the game. Season five is no exception, and players will have the opportunity to head to southern Russia. 
This update has already been available on the public test server for quite some time. Many players have already visited the Rostov region and had some rides there. Thanks to open testing, bugs could be fixed quickly so that players receive a polished product in the end.
As is already known, players will need to restore the Tatra factory. Naturally, this is done by delivering the necessary materials and performing certain tasks. Besides the new map, players can expect new trucks from Tatra (two in total), as well as various improvements, challenges, skins, and more. In general, it will be interesting.
And the update will be released very soon – on September 9 of this year. Not much longer to wait!
Getting to know the modders
We have already mentioned this – the developers have launched a new section called “Getting to Know the Modders.” As the name suggests, this is a feature where we learn more about the cool modders who constantly work and create new content for the game, which you can download from us completely free of charge.
Without mods, the game wouldn’t be as interesting, since modders bring to life the coolest ideas and concepts, adding everything from simple decorations to the most impressive maps and vehicles.
Other seasons
Many are eagerly awaiting the fifth season, which will come out in just a few days. It’s time to share new information about the upcoming sixth season. The action will take place in an American region. The developers promise many forest locations. The conditions will be far from easy, so you’ll have to show all your skills.
But we won’t stop at just the sixth season. The seventh season will delight fans with competitive conditions. The main focus will be on off-road, so you’ll need quality equipment. Sounds pretty cool.
The most ambitious of all will be the eighth season. There isn’t much information about it yet. It is known that in season eight, players will be able to visit a completely new region with its own maps. There will also be new quality vehicles and skins. But the most important thing among all this is a new game mode that will significantly diversify SnowRunner. Stay tuned for more information on this!
New game versions and crossplay
Since the game is sold in several different stores (EGS, Steam, Microsoft), certain issues arose with crossplay between these services. However, starting September 9 of this year, along with season five, players will have the opportunity for crossplay between these three platforms. It should be understood that work on crossplay will continue even after September 9; this will be just an early version.
If you have next-generation consoles, there is good news for you as well. Work is currently underway on a stable version of the game for next-gen PS and Xbox. According to the developers, the game will run at 60 frames per second, which is a pretty good indicator. There will be a separate announcement when the developers provide more information. Will it really be so? We hope so. 

Along with the 5th phase of content for SnowRunner, a new DLC called Jeep Dual Pack was released.“Jeep Dual Pack” — is a pack featuring two classic “Scouts” from the legendary manufacturer — the Wrangler Rubicon and the CJ-7 “Renegade.” These time-tested lightweight Jeep vehicles are always ready for any off-road adventure.The “Jeep Dual Pack” is not included in the Year 1 or Year 2 season passes.

Well, great news! The fifth season for SnowRunner has finally been released, which was tested for a long time on the public test server, bugs were fixed, and improvements were made. And now, finally, all owners of the second-year season pass will be able to enjoy all the content of the new update. 
Let us remind you that along with this update, players who do not have a season pass will still receive some free content. By the way, don’t forget about the crossplay between Steam and EGS, which was also added with this update. We suggest you take a look at the trailer, attached at the bottom of the news.
New vehicles, restoration of the Tatra factory, new conditions
Well, it can be confidently said that this is a very cool update that brings a lot of interesting things to the game. Many already know that the main goal is the restoration of the TATRA factory by the usual methods: by delivering the necessary resources.
You have a total of 2 maps. Of course, for Russian players, the biggest plus is the location of these maps: Rostov Oblast. 
New vehicles are included as well. You can become the owner of two new trucks that will significantly ease your work in any conditions (after all, these are eight-wheelers): the Tatra “Phoenix” and the Tatra Force. 
Of course, the developers listened to many requests and added a dynamic ramp. There are also new skins that are given to players for free, even if they do not have a season pass. Immersive mode and crossplay are also available to all players. 

September has come to an end. As always, the SnowRunner developers have provided a summary of the changes for September, as well as information about upcoming updates. 
Changes in September
The biggest change in September was the update adding the Rostov region, which many players have come to love, judging by the feedback. At the beginning of September, a seasonal pass was released, which added a lot of interesting content to the game, including the new region.
Equally important, the developers added crossplay between different PC platforms: Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store, to be precise. This is very important since players complained that they couldn’t play with their friends because the games were purchased from different stores. The problem has been partially resolved.
A little later in September, a small add-on called Jeep Dual Pack was released, which added cool jeeps designed specifically for off-roading, and in SnowRunner, almost every location is difficult to traverse. 
Updates, music, and more
Unfortunately, in this release, the developers provided very little information about upcoming updates, but at least they shared something. Work on the sixth season pass is actively ongoing. As is known, in the sixth season, players will be able to visit a new American region. Additionally, new special vehicles will be added. We will wait for the developers to provide more information.
Work on improving the quality of SnowRunner for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles is also actively continuing. Besides standard improvements, the developers are working on full crossplay for next-generation consoles, a 60 frames-per-second mode, and other enhancements. It is unclear when all this will be available. 
Work on the technical side of the game for both consoles and PC is also actively ongoing. By mid-October, the developers will release a patch that fixes a number of serious (and less serious) bugs. The patch is named 15.1.
On a less exciting note, the developers published an eight-hour SnowRunner soundtrack video on YouTube. According to them, this background music is perfect for relaxing, driving, or even studying if you want pleasant music playing in the background!
