SnowRunner - May Development Update

The developers of SnowRunner have released some information about the new major update numbered 5.0. The update will be available for all platforms. You can even try the update right now by playing on the public test server. The developers are taking into account all the feedback from players on the public test server.


Changes in update 5.0
The first thing the developers promised to release with patch 5.0 is a large number of fixes for various bugs. The fixed bugs include the following issues: cargo duplication, falling through textures, bugs with additional devices like steering wheels (for personal computers), and more.

For consoles, update 5.0 will introduce working mirrors, as well as support for additional devices – steering wheels. This is a long-awaited update.

New features will also be added to the game for all platforms. Among the new content will be a new map called "The Ravine," various skins for your vehicles, force feedback for steering wheels, and much more. Additionally, the developers specifically highlighted new save slots, as well as a free camera on maps from mods.

And most importantly – this is not the full list, but only a small part of what the developers plan to release with the new major patch 5.0. The full list of updates will be released along with the new patch.


Release date
The new update 5.0 (unfinished version) can be tried even now – just join the public test server. However, the developers have not announced a specific release date. The reason for this is that they are not yet sure when they will be able to release this update, so they simply do not want to mislead their players.
