Many people are familiar with the problem where, after unclear updates in recent days, maps need to be installed the old-fashioned way: by replacing the standard ones. But there is a solution – the RunAsDate program, which allows you to run applications by substituting the current date for them. No more need to change the system date on your computer! Using it is incredibly simple: no installation needed, launch the application (I recommend 32 bit), select the .exe file to start the game, set the date you want to run it with, for example 20.02.2016, click Run, and voila! The game thinks the system time is 20.02.2016. Maps work like before! The game has the option to create a shortcut so you can launch the game immediately with the set date and much more. Enjoy the game!

You have probably already seen the RunAsDate program for changing the system date when launching the game, which solves the problem with installing maps on SpinTires. Now there is an even simpler way! Just two files that need to be placed next to the SpinTires.exe file. Extract the archive into the game folder, and everything will work as before! This is a modified media.xml file that, although it reduces the game's realism, is well suited for creating screenshots. The game will always have sunny weather without fog, and the screenshots will be bright and colorful. Tested on game version 25.12.15c. If it works on another game version, please write in the comments. Installation: place the file from the downloaded archive into the Media.zip archive in the game (be sure to save or rename the original file first). Enjoy the beautiful game!
