Update 1.6.0 and SHERP Ural Challenge DLC Release

The SHERP Ural Challenge DLC was released very recently, and the developers have just published new screenshots for the new expansion. Along with the DLC, players received the new patch 1.6.0, now available for everyone.

What's new in 1.6.0?

Added / New
- Tire inflation system (CTIS) is available on the following vehicles: SHERP N, SHERP ARK, B157, B131, C4310, C255, D535, E7310, B66, C4320.
- Differential steering, either by braking one side of the wheels or by reverse rotation (tank-like).
- Support for chassis with multiple steerable joints (e.g., twisting left/right and tilting the cabin up/down).
- Driver animation for vehicles controlled by levers instead of a steering wheel.

Improvements
- Much more realistic water interaction, now taking into account the shape of what is submerged and applying buoyancy, water flow pressure, and surface friction.
- Completely rewritten mud physics. New mud physics.
- Removed sleeping driver animation (his back cutting through the seats was a headache for both modders and developers).
- The driver now looks where the vehicle is going instead of looking at the camera.
- Increased maximum number of bones per mesh from 16 to 40.
- Improved brakes.
- Improved automatic transmission, downshifts better when driving uphill than before.
- Improved transmission.
- Mirror effect enabled on static models.
- The crane grabber turn button in the advanced menu was merged with the main crane operation button.
- Minor change in the advanced visual effects menu.
- Fixed "brown" water.
- Improved water particles, especially those used when amphibious vehicles move through water.
- Improved rain textures.

Fixes
- Crash during refueling in multiplayer.
- Some crashes when loading saves.
- Brakes now stop movement between the wheel and chassis instead of stopping all wheel movement.
- Removed speed damage.
- High-friction tires no longer cause absurdly high fuel consumption.
- Interface errors at refueling.
- Achievement names and descriptions.
- Launching the game without pressing the "casual" or "hardcore" button will start a hardcore game, even if the casual option is selected.
- Joining MP games via invitations or friends list sometimes did not work.
- Increased traction of K-700 and E-167 in mud.
- The rim of the D-535 wheel can deform like rubber.
