Update 24.01.18: screenshots added!
Hello everyone!
It’s been only two months since Spintires: MudRunner was released, and we are very pleased to announce the first DLC for Spintires: MudRunner - "The Valley"!
We plan to release it in February, and it will be a free content update for the game. First of all, it will introduce a completely new map called "The Valley," which is a very vast area with large forests. Similar to the "Flood" map in the game, you will start outside the garage and will need to unlock it as you progress.
In addition to the new map, we will also introduce three new powerful vehicles. These vehicles can be used on any map if you have enough unlocked progress points, but on The Valley map, they will be available immediately.
One of the new vehicles will be the LuAZ-969, a powerful 4x4 vehicle specially adapted for the rugged forest terrain of "The Valley."
The MAZ-6317, a six-wheeled truck with a large number of addons.
And the MZKT-7429, a very large 8x8 truck with a special hidden feature. We will share details about each of these vehicles ahead of the release, in weekly vehicle showcases and informational posts.
In the "The Valley" DLC, alongside the new vehicles and new map, there will also be eight new addons:
- Spare wheel for MAZ-6317;
- Spare wheel for LuAZ-969;
- Fuel cans for LuAZ-969;
- Garage parts for LuAZ-969;
- Repair parts for LuAZ-969;
- MZKT-7429 Advanced Trailer Hitch (Sanya, translate this, the translator is complaining!);
- Repair parts for MZKT-7429;
- Semi-trailer with garage parts for MZKT-7429 (also compatible with MAZ-7310);
- Semi-trailer for medium logs (compatible with some trucks).
For modders, there will be several new features available for creating maps and vehicles:
- Hitch device for MAZ-7310;
- New tree physics (currently only available in "The Valley");
- New type of dirt road surface, which will also initially be available only in "The Valley."
Players will be able to get muddy in "The Valley" immediately after the DLC release. So if you just bought the game and haven’t completed other maps, don’t worry – you can still drive around "The Valley."
The goals and objectives in "The Valley" will be the same as on the standard maps: unlock garages and fill all the sawmills on the map.
We look forward to sharing more about the upcoming DLC!
But that’s not all! In addition to this news, we would like to say that we plan to do monthly updates, share what we are working on, and implement some interesting things you keep asking for.
