“TrophyStorm” Competitions

SpinTires: MudRunner is an unparalleled off-road driving experience that attracts players to navigate impassable roads in harsh conditions. Available on PC and consoles, SpinTires: MudRunner will be expanded on May 29, 2018, with the new DLC "The Ridge." This free expansion includes a new map, new vehicles, and new addons for exploring the terrain.
"The Ridge" is a coastal map split in half by a mountain ridge. Players will need to act very carefully if they want to shorten travel time by crossing through the center of the mountain ridge.

In addition to the brand-new map, two new vehicles will be provided: the D-538 (MAZ-538) - a heavy tractor, and the B-6A (UMZ-6A) - a light tractor. These two vehicles can be used on any map, provided you have enough progress points to unlock the vehicles. The "Ridge" map can now be completed with a new type of log delivery called "Scavenging." Logs are now scattered across the map, and players will need to find them in various locations in the wilderness to complete the map and earn progress points.

SpinTires: MudRunner offers players incredible content and unique experiences – the game features a unique genre where players are given new tasks to solve real-world off-road challenges. Dedicated players and off-road enthusiasts will appreciate the highly realistic driving sensations thanks to the game's advanced physics engine, differential transmission system, tire-soil modeling, as well as realistic interactions with vegetation, mud, water, and your truck.

The DLC "The Ridge" will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 29.

"The Ridge (The Ridge)" is a completely new and free DLC that will be released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 29, 2018. This is the second expansion for SpinTires: MudRunner and will include entirely new content for the game, including two new vehicles, a new map, and a brand-new game mode – Scavenge. The new map – The Ridge – will feature a ridge that splits the map in half and will require players to first scout the route and then make their way through the mountain.

In anticipation of the release of the "The Ridge" expansion, the developers continue to present vehicles to share information about the amazing new machines that will appear in the game with the new free DLC!

Vehicle description:
UMZ-6A (B-6A) – a vehicle more than capable of handling its assigned tonnage.
UMZ is the smallest tractor available in SpinTires: MudRunner.
This tractor has minimal off-road capabilities because it is rear-wheel drive; it belongs to Class A vehicles.

Technical specifications:
UMZ has a 120-liter fuel tank and can sustain up to 600 damage points.
This tractor is a tough little machine that can compete with more powerful vehicles.
This small, attractive tractor will likely become the new scout vehicle for new maps.

Advantages:
UMZ-6A can tow not only its own weight but also add-ons and can be moved to another truck, like Class A vehicles.

Disadvantages:
With only rear-wheel drive, the UMZ-6A is not very good off-road; its weak points are water obstacles and deep mud.

Add-ons:
- Service cart – 300 liters of fuel and 400 repair units.
- Fuel trailer – 900 liters of fuel.
- Fuel tanks – 120 liters of fuel.

As you know, the 1.31 update for Euro Truck Simulator 2 was recently released, which was warmly received by players, but time goes on and today the staff at SCS Software have begun to talk about the changes players can expect in the ETS 2 1.32 update.

One of the biggest requests from players, expressed in the comments, is the desire to see the old base map territories of the game in an updated form. The developers listened to these requests and some of the studio’s staff are already hard at work updating the base areas of the Euro Truck Simulator 2 map. The developers plan to update the old territories at least to the level of the latest expansions (Italy, France). Updating the old regions requires special care and attention, as there are many different dependencies, so the developers decided to start with the main region of the base map – Germany.

It will not be possible to overhaul the Germany map in a single update, as it is a fairly large territory comparable in scale to any of the individual expansions. Therefore, to avoid delaying the release of updates and expansions already in progress for American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 (Baltics and Oregon), the developers decided to update the base map gradually. With each new game update, updated territories will be added. This way, they plan to update the entire old map and then move on to one of the first expansions released for the game that extended the playable area.

As you can see in the comparative screenshots provided (screenshots are shown in pairs – before and after), the developers have significantly reworked the autobahns, and they also plan to seriously overhaul some of the cities, while other settlements will be updated visually only – new textures, new vegetation will be added, and current shortcomings will be removed. What will be presented in the ETS 2 1.32 update will be just the first stage of large-scale changes that will progress from the northern regions of the map to the south. All changes will be available to all ETS 2 game owners completely free in future game updates.

Designed for the rugged terrain of The Ridge, the MAZ-538 (D-538) tractor is perfectly suited to support other vehicles during "Scavenge."
A large truck, well-prepared for off-road driving, the MAZ-538 is an excellent addition to the scout vehicle and can assist it in difficult situations.

Technical specifications:
The MAZ-538 has a 400-liter fuel tank and can withstand up to 800 damage points. It is a powerful vehicle capable of transporting heavy loads through mountainous terrain and easily delivering logs in "Scavenge" mode.

Advantages:
This is an all-wheel-drive tractor with a permanently locked differential; the MAZ-538 feels right at home on the rugged terrain of The Ridge.

Disadvantages:
The MAZ-538 is not very effective on asphalt surfaces, as it is exclusively an off-road tractor.
