American Wilds is a new DLC for Spintires: MudRunner, set to be released in 2018! This large expansion will introduce entirely new content to the game, including several vehicles, two maps, and a completely new location – the United States of America!
Ahead of the American Wilds release, the developers are bringing back vehicle presentations, where they are happy to showcase new vehicles coming to the game, and today we will talk about the Hummer H1!

Vehicle description:
The Hummer H1 is a large and capable off-road vehicle thanks to its all-wheel drive system and differential lock capabilities.

Strengths:
The fast, maneuverable Hummer H1 feels at home on roads and in mud. It’s perfect for scouting.

Weaknesses:
With a limited number of addons, the Hummer H1 won’t become the main workhorse of your fleet.

Addons:
- Trunk cover (kunga): affects only the appearance.
- Repair parts – carries 20 liters of fuel and 150 repair points.
- Roof rack – 80 liters of fuel.
- Spare wheel – 60 repair points.

Spintires: MudRunner – American Wilds will be released for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 23, 2018, and in November for Nintendo Switch. It will be available as a DLC for Spintires: MudRunner, as well as a special edition Spintires: MudRunner – American Wilds, which will include the base game and all its expansions.

Vehicle Description:
All-wheel drive and the ability to lock differentials make the Chevy K5 Blazer a very capable off-road vehicle. Additionally, it has decent speed, allowing for quick movement across the map for exploration purposes.

Gameplay Characteristics:
The "Blazer" is a fairly sturdy vehicle, with a durability of 300 units. It doesn’t have the most spacious fuel tank, but its fuel consumption is low, so it can handle long autonomous trips.

Strengths:
On familiar roads, the Blazer is agile and well-equipped to scout new routes as a starter vehicle, making it the best choice at the beginning of the map run.

Weaknesses:
While the K5 is quite self-sufficient for long trips, its limited number of addons means it won’t be able to last through the entire game without support.

Addons:
- Bumper (cosmetic).
- Light bar (cosmetic).
- Consumables – 20 liters of fuel and 150 repair points.
- Roof rack – 80 liters of fuel.
- Spare wheel – 60 repair points.

It is the third largest expansion of all, featuring completely new content for the game, including 9 new vehicles, two new maps, and an entirely new game setting - the United States of America!

Vehicle description:
The Western Star 6900XD is a powerful tractor capable of hauling very heavy loads. If you need to drag a load of logs from point A to point B and there is at least some kind of road between them, the fast and reliable 6900XD is definitely your choice.

Technical specifications:
600 durability units and a 330-liter fuel tank allow the 6900XD to confidently traverse off-road terrain without fear of getting stuck in a ditch or running out of fuel.

Advantages:
The 6900XD is a true workhorse in the American Wilds expansion; it hardly even needs asphalt. An excellent choice if you need to transport heavy loads on the axle through mud.

Disadvantages:
The 6900XD does not feel as confident on highways as the other vehicles in the expansion.

Add-ons:
- Flatbed semi-trailer: can transport vehicles!
- Fuel tank - 1400 liters of fuel.
- Fuel semi-trailer - 4200 liters of fuel
- Fuel trailer - 1800 liters of fuel
- Logging body: allows transporting short logs.
- Logging hitch: allows attaching a large logging semi-trailer.

With 600 damage points and boasting a 330-liter fuel tank, the FLD 120 is not the best off-roader. You will use this vehicle to handle road transport and long distances on asphalt.

Advantages:
The Freightliner can be equipped with the maximum number of addons and even a crane. It makes for the perfect timber truck.

Disadvantages:
Access to the Freightliner can only be obtained with balance points. Unfortunately, you cannot get behind its wheel immediately.

Compared to trucks, the F150 seems small, but its all-wheel drive and differential lock allow this powerful SUV to be used in many situations. And when all-wheel drive is not needed, you can always disconnect the front axle.

Technical specifications:
Compared to trucks, the F150 does not have the most spacious fuel tank – only 80 liters. Therefore, the Ford is well suited for scouting terrain, but on long trips it will need support and refueling. However, 300 durability points allow it to confidently traverse rough terrain.

Advantages:
A fast and maneuverable SUV. Performs excellently both on the road and off-road. A great choice for scouting and forging new routes.

Disadvantages:
