Euro Truck Simulator 2 Update 1.28 Open Beta

This update will bring the long-awaited functionality of double trailers to the game. Initially, double trailer transport jobs will appear only in the Scandinavian countries, where, as is known, they are legal. In the future, we will look into where local regulations in European countries and surrounding areas allow the operation of double trailers, to expand your transport options further down the line. Nevertheless, we are confident it will be great fun to drive double trailers on the narrow roads and steep hills of Scandinavia.

Another notable update is the ability to use alternative backgrounds for the game's main menu.

Additionally, the visual representation of glowing headlights and lamps has been updated to be more realistic, eliminating excessive glare at close range.

Minor changes:
- Support for the auxiliary braking system (engine brake and retarder combined into one control)
- Fixed license plate changes in states/countries where city formats are missing
- Fixed braking system and parking brake behavior
- Fixed quiet tire noise
- Improved retarder (better behavior with cruise control, does not brake with throttle open, icon while driving)
- Steam Inventory support, allowing distribution of rewards from upcoming World of Trucks events

If you want to participate in Open Beta testing, you can find this version in the public_beta branch on Steam. The access method is as follows: Steam client → Library → right-click on Euro Truck Simulator 2 → Properties → Beta tab → public_beta → 1.28 public beta version. No password required.
