Today in our review are the best maps for Euro Truck Simulator 2. A separate article with a selection of the best mods will be published. We want to remind you that you can suggest article topics that interest you, and there is a good chance such an article will appear if the topic is interesting. 
There are many maps for ETS 2, and it’s hard to decide which to choose, so again we will base everything on download statistics. The most popular and high-quality maps can be found in this selection. Let’s go!

Map “TruckSim Map”

Judging by the downloads, you have really grown fond of the TruckSim Map, which reworks the standard territory of the “Europe” module by adding new detailed and beautiful cities and entire countries. You can find a full description of the map on the download page.

Among the most important features is the global overhaul of Italy and France. These countries are not only heavily reworked but also expanded. You will have the opportunity to visit new countries and get acquainted with their culture.
Another important feature is the presence of its own road traffic, unique cargos, and much more! At the same time, the map works perfectly with other global expansions, allowing you to combine several cool projects and completely overhaul ETS 2. 

TruckSim Map has over 20,000 downloads on STMods, which already speaks to the quality of the project. If you haven’t downloaded it yet – now is the time to fix that.

Map “YKS Team Eu Turkey”
Another very popular map for ETS 2, adding entire countries, cities, and villages. By downloading this global add-on, you will gain access to eight countries. Among them are Turkey, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and other countries.

Of course, all these countries are beautifully detailed. In Turkey alone, you will find more than 60 cities, and there are seven other countries with their own cities. Yes, not all cities from these countries are added, as that would be an incredible amount of work, but the added content is more than enough to diversify the game.
Everything is done realistically: the cities are recreated very beautifully, with their landmarks and routes, and of course – there is a border crossing to maximize realism. 

Map “PJ Indo”
PJ Indo offers you a visit to a very beautiful country – Indonesia. The author approached the creation of the map responsibly, created everything considering various details, and made the game as realistic as possible.

Just looking at the screenshots is enough to understand how huge the work was. There is a lot of vegetation and beautiful locations. If you just want to relax, drive around, and enjoy nature – you have that opportunity.
Like most other major add-ons, PJ Indo works perfectly with some other global projects, giving you the chance to overhaul the entire game.

Map “MHA Pro”
This is not a separate map but an addition to the standard European territories with new cities added to already existing countries in ETS 2. 

After installing the map, you will find new routes, territories, and settlements. There are also new unique objects. Additionally, variety is added in terms of new deliveries, as separate companies have been added to the game.
According to the author, a total of 22 countries have been reworked, many cities (about 300), and as many as 199 companies. All that remains is to download and enjoy the game!

ProMods Middle-East Add-On


Not a separate map, but just an add-on for ProMods, and what a size it is... After installation, you will be able to visit almost the entire Middle East. Among the highlights are:
Two entirely new continents;A large number of new cities: as many as 40.

Poland Rebuilding Reworked
Well, many maps are based on ProMods, and Poland Rebuilding Reworked is no exception. As the name suggests, this map globally reworks Poland. More specifically, the mod adds new Polish cities and reworks a number of existing ones. Various roads, landmarks, and much more have been reworked. In short, if you want to see Poland in a new light – this map is for you.

Among the cities you can visit are: Lębork, Łeba, Elbląg, Ostróda, Legnica, Wałcz. A cool project that has rightfully earned its place in the top. Compared to other maps, it has only 13,000 downloads, but for an adaptation or add-on, that’s quite a decent number.

Map “Paris Rebuild”
Do you love Paris? Of course you do, as it is one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in the world. Fortunately, you can visit Paris in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and enjoy all its sights. However, the original version of the city has many flaws and shortcomings.  

The goal of the Paris Rebuild map is to reconstruct the city. A huge number of changes have been made. The most noticeable are new roads on which you can simply drive and enjoy the view or deliver cargo. Additionally, for more variety, new roads have been added, some previously inaccessible closed roads are now open, GPS corrections have been made, special buses have been added to traffic, and much, much more!

Map “Republic of Kazakhstan”
Want to visit Kazakhstan in Euro Truck Simulator 2? If your answer is yes, then we present to you the map “Republic of Kazakhstan,” which transports you... well... to Kazakhstan! 

Unlike many other maps in this selection, this mod does not change anything and works autonomously. Just select the corresponding module and start your journey through this amazing country.
A variety of cities are available for exploration: Kosshy, Atasu, Abay, Astana, Shiderty, and so on. The mod contains about 30 cities of this republic. Additionally, you will notice some other interesting changes. For example, the currency will now be in tenge instead of euros or dollars. 

Map “Mario”
Moving on to truly very popular maps. Probably there is no Euro Truck Simulator 2 fan who doesn’t know the “Mario” map, which adds a large number of new countries with their cities, landmarks, and other places.

It’s worth mentioning that the map adds Ukraine, Belarus, various European countries, Africa, and many other countries to your game, significantly expanding and improving the game’s variety. It’s impossible to list all the advantages of “Mario,” but it’s worth noting that the map already has almost 100,000 downloads, which is a lot.
The only downside is that it requires a large number of official DLCs such as the “France,” “Italy,” “Scandinavia” expansions, and so on to work properly. The full list of requirements is on the download page, but if you haven’t played yet – it’s time to catch up.

Map “Eastern Express”
Also a very well-known map for Euro Truck Simulator 2 – “Eastern Express,” which at the time of writing has over 90,000 downloads and a large number of positive reviews.

It contains three large countries: Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. It has a number of gameplay improvements and its own traffic. It allows you to transport various valuable (and not so valuable) cargos across these countries, and you can also transport passengers, which is very important when you want to take a break from constant cargo deliveries.
Certain changes have been made to the passenger transport system, but you can learn more about this on the download page. You can visit various cities in the above three countries. Visit Ufa, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Uzhhorod, Lviv, and other equally beautiful cities. 

Map “Southern Region”
There isn’t much to say about this map. In short, after installation, you will have the opportunity to visit the southern region of Russia. If you like driving around Russia (and judging by downloads, you do) – why not add such an opportunity to your game? Naturally, there is plenty to do on this map. Just drive around and enjoy the native atmosphere, or complete tasks and earn money.


Russia Map “RusMap”
And the very last and best map in our selection – RusMap. It is an absolute record holder, having over 350,000 downloads, which is simply an incredible result for a map. From the name, it’s already clear where you will end up after installation.

Yes, dozens of cities of the Russian Federation and some cities of the Republic of Belarus are available. Among the Russian cities you can visit are Obninsk, Ostashkov, Porkhov, Rzhev, Roslavl, Smolensk, Tver, Kholm, Yukhnov, Tula, Kursk, Orel, Voronezh, Kolomna, Tambov, Borisoglebsk, Volgograd, Volzhsky, Krasnoslobodsk, Saratov, Engels, Lodeynoye Pole, Petrozavodsk, Medvezhyegorsk, Kem, Zelenoborsky, Sortavala, and many other cities (full list on the download page).
There are fewer cities in the Republic of Belarus: only 18. Just imagine the huge amount of work that was done to create this global project.
Don’t forget the new roads of Russia and Belarus: about 30 huge roads and routes for Russia, and 14 new roads for Belarus. With each update, the author adds more new cities and settlements, and don’t forget that there are separate add-ons for RusMap that further complement this huge project and add a lot of new content.
