In addition to gameplay and visual changes, Farming Simulator 22 will feature improved sound. Some of these changes can already be heard in the video demonstration (located just below in the article). The demonstration was conducted by sound engineers Chris and Nils. Dynamic engine and exhaust sounds
First and foremost among the changes are the dynamic engine and exhaust sounds. The team worked long and hard on a new system that will allow for the most realistic and dynamic representation of a vehicle’s running engine sound. Sound engineers and programmers collaborated extensively, mastering new tools to achieve this result. 
To clarify – the sound of your vehicle now depends on various factors: load, resistance. Depending on what you are doing, the sounds can dynamically change, making it very realistic. A vivid example: if you are hauling a heavy load on a tractor, the sound will differ from when you are driving the tractor without a load or with a small load. Real sound recordings of actual vehicles were used for this.


Sounds of attached equipment
While sound engineer Chris focused more on dynamic sounds, Nils concentrated on attached equipment. Attached equipment produces a wide variety of sounds. Therefore, it was decided to visit various farms and record real sounds of real machinery in different conditions. This means that the game will now feature more sounds of attached equipment, they will be realistic, and different sounds will be emitted depending on the animation.
Each piece of attached equipment will now have its own sounds. Moreover, sounds can be heard both outside and inside the cabin, allowing for maximum immersion in FS22. You will hear the sounds of windshield wipers, the knocking of interior tractor parts, and other sounds.
 

The developers continue to delight with news about the highly anticipated game Farming Simulator 22. In this article, we will talk about the new improved construction mode. If you watched FarmCon, you saw some of the new mode's features. If you haven't watched it – there is a video below so you can catch up. 


Improvements and Overhaul
Construction mode is a very important part of the gameplay. When building, you must take into account landscape features and more. Let’s talk about what has been reworked and improved. 
There were several reasons for improving the construction mode. The first reason is ease of use. The developers care about the players, and based on a lot of feedback, it was decided to improve this system. 
The second reason is production chains, which we have already discussed. You can build various factories and buildings, and for this, it is very important to have a good construction mode with enhanced capabilities, since you will be building constantly. 
First among the new features is the quick switching between construction modes for placing objects, deleting objects, and editing the landscape. This will significantly speed up the process. Additionally, new convenient tools are available in the landscape editing mode. Now landscape editing is much faster and easier.
New Features
We have covered the revamped features, but there must also be innovations in this mode. Yes, there are, let’s look at the new additions. 
We have talked many times about new crops. Take grapes as an example. To start a grape business, you first need to create vineyard fields. You need to plant vines, and this will be done in construction mode. The same system works with olives.
If you prefer animal husbandry – in FS22 you can build fences of many shapes yourself. Initially, there will be 10 different fences, plus gates, of course. You manage your farm yourself – don’t forget that.
New Placeable Objects
Now let’s look at the types of placeable objects in Farming Simulator 22:
Various buildings. You can build hangars, barns, garages, sheds, car service points, special places for solar panels, and much more. No one limits you.Production facilities. To start production (and there are many in FS22), you will need to create special buildings, which is quite logical. For example, to get flour you need a mill, and for bread – a bakery, and so on. Some production facilities will already be present on the map. Others you will build yourself in construction mode.Animal husbandry. You can build objects for animal husbandry. There are ready-made pastures, objects of various shapes and sizes, each with specific functionality.Decorative items. Yes, you can decorate your farm with a variety of decorative items. For example, you can place fences, lanterns, and other objects; the set of items is quite large.Landscape. Thanks to the landscape tools, you can make your field unique, manage trees, plants, and more, and plant new ones. As mentioned before – you manage your farm yourself, including visually.  

It's time to talk about the improved Giants Engine 9, which is used to create Farming Simulator 22. Thanks to this engine, it was possible to achieve more beautiful graphics and improved performance, but the benefits don't end there. The new version of Giants Engine 9 supports DirectX 12, Parallax Occlusion Mapping (a parallax system), and other features. Let's look at the features of this engine. Why developers use their own engine
Many don't understand why so much effort is spent on developing and improving their own engine, but it's quite obvious. Having their own engine allows developers to do almost anything they want, as they can update their engine at any time, add new features, and they won't depend on other developers. 
Having their own engine allows them to create and use tools for more convenient development of their project. This is a very important step.
What performance improvements will be in FS22
Naturally, the new engine will greatly affect the game's performance and graphics. Let's look at some particularly important details.
DirectX 12 support. This is a very important point, as now PC users will be able to take advantage of all the features of DirectX 12. This will allow better resource management and save CPU resources for other processes.Support for texture streaming system. A very important update that will allow dynamic loading of texture versions and resolutions, which in turn will allow placing more objects on the map, while reducing the number of slots used for vehicles. And, of course, loading times will be significantly reduced.Occlusion Culling system. This system works simply but effectively. It is also known as Hidden-surface determination. For example, if an object is hidden behind a shed, you won't see it. However, as soon as you get close, the object will load (before you reach it, so visually this won't even be noticeable to the player). This saves resources and increases performance.
Graphic updates
Now let's talk about graphic systems, not just performance, as this is also very important.
TAA system – temporal anti-aliasing. In previous games from the developers, the MSAA system was automatically used, but TAA performs much better and runs faster. However, if you are still not satisfied with the result or want to increase performance at the expense of graphics, this system can be disabled in the settings.Parallax Occlusion Mapping. We have talked about this system many times. Many wanted a more detailed and dynamic landscape – and parallax occlusion mapping adds all of that. More about the parallax system in this article.Improved shadow system. And the last change worth highlighting is the improved shadow system. Thanks to better performance, the shadow rendering distance can be increased, giving your farm a more realistic and “alive” look. 

As players of Farming Simulator know well, CLAAS is one of the best manufacturers of agricultural machinery. In FS19, we encountered various models, and even more thanks to the hard work of modders. In Farming Simulator 22, various equipment from CLAAS will also be available. However, this article will focus on a completely new model – the next-generation CLAAS TRION 750 grain harvester. 
The main goal of creating such an impressive grain harvester is to give farmers the ability to use the equipment practically anywhere, from flat terrains to hilly areas. This machinery is perfectly suited for all existing FS22 regions. 
Configurations
Naturally, such impressive equipment should have its own configurations. There are 3 main configurations in total. The TRION 750 has a power output of 435 horsepower and a capacity of a full 12,000 liters. 
Additionally, you can add the special CONVIO FLEX 1080 header. And, of course, no one forbids you from choosing your tires. The equipment is as useful and interesting as its real-life counterpart. Rest assured – you will like it! 

Just recently, the developers presented the first gameplay trailer for Farming Simulator 22. The release is scheduled for November 22 for PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia. Pre-orders are already available on the official website. It is possible to purchase the season pass with additional content right away, but we will talk about that in the next news update.

Farming Simulator 22 is the largest project in the series, according to the developers. However, after release, the game will be continuously improved, with new machinery, gameplay features, and expansions being added. Naturally, some of these will be paid. 
Today, let's talk about the Season Pass edition. This edition automatically adds new paid expansions to your library as they are released. It is much more cost-effective to buy the season pass once than to purchase new expansions separately each time. Believe me, it ends up being much cheaper. 
Season passes will be divided by year. You can already pre-order the first-year Season Pass, which grants you all paid expansions released for FS22. Period: from launch until fall 2022. Everything released during this time will be free for season pass holders.
Currently, 4 expansions are planned for the first year: 3 packs and one major expansion. It is quite possible that other expansions will be released during this time, but you will receive at least 4 expansions. 

So, it's time to learn more about the FS22 maps. Haut-Beyleron is the third map for the game. We have already talked about the two previous maps: Erlengrat and Elmcreek. But there was no information about Haut-Beyleron. As some guessed from the name, the action of this map takes place in France.
As with other maps, Haut-Beyleron is not just a small location in France, but a location influenced by different regions of France. Here you will see various colorful places: rivers, hills. But that's just the beginning. In the central part of the map, there is an old French castle.
Don't forget about the observatory, which opens its dome in the evenings, the gondolas floating along the rivers, and much more. Sometimes you just want to leave your tractor and enjoy the views. By the way, this is possible and even highly recommended, because you don’t see such beauty every day. Switch from the tractor to the wheel of a regular car and enjoy the scenery.
Your perfect vineyard!
Of course, in France you will have the perfect opportunity to create your own individual, beautiful, and profitable vineyard, as well as production facilities. This map is simply ideal for the new crops that will appear in the game. In particular, the already beautiful landscape will become even more stunning with grapes and olives.
However, don’t forget about the climate of this area. It is quite likely that snow will begin in winter, which will significantly complicate the farmer’s work. If seasonal gameplay is enabled in the settings, you will have to perform additional tasks in winter to avoid ruining your farm.
