Participants will need to tame the monsters, saddle them, and make them do what the rider—the show participant—needs, not what these fierce arena warriors want. After all, you’ll also have to fight the irresistible urge to stomp on the gas pedal with both feet and launch yourself at full speed toward the nearest ramp! Tricks will only earn points if the vehicle stays on its wheels.
This time, participants will have the opportunity to practice thoroughly before performing by choosing a suitable monster. And if you want to tweak the vehicle settings—feel free to do whatever you like. The main goal is to demonstrate top driving skills and perform the best tricks, crushing any hope of victory in your opponents’ hearts.

The competition will take place on the “MonsterStorm” arena using any of these monsters: Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction, or Pastrana 199. Customizing your vehicles is not only allowed but even encouraged :)

Not long ago, the developers released the free Canyons DLC for Spintires, which adds a new map (steep slopes, mountains, canyons) and 1 new vehicle. The "Monster" with 6 wheels and two E-167 engines.

This pack includes:
E-167 truck - with its unique sounds.
"Canyon" map - with custom models.

A new Aftermath DLC for Spintires was recently added.

A small town is recovering after a severe storm that caused massive destruction and flooding. To help restore the village, we ask you to join the logging efforts. Take one of the new B-133 or B-133GYa (diesel) trucks and help rebuild the village after such catastrophic damage.

Make your way across a huge map with unique models (destroyed houses, bridges, shops, and so on) and flooded areas. Equip your truck with additional wheel, tire, exhaust pipe, trailer, and other accessory customizations.

Very soon, on December 13, a new official expansion for Spintires called Chernobyl will be released.

As you might have guessed, this expansion will add the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant exclusion zone to the game. Here, players will drive and collect cargo while completing various tasks. Two new trucks, the B-157 and B-505, and three achievements have also been added.

The map includes: the exclusion zone including the area near the power plant, the city of Pripyat, and the Red Forest.

The map will feature radioactive zones where vehicles take damage, and a Geiger counter to help avoid such areas.

So far, there is only a small teaser that provides almost no information.

The long-awaited (possibly not for everyone) Chernobyl DLC has been released and is now available for purchase on Steam. Along with the release, new screenshots and a full trailer have appeared.

A new patch 1.4.0 (full) was also introduced; below is the list of all changes/updates:

Added/New
- Ability to remove the 60 FPS limit.
- Orbital camera mode.
- Right-side viewing angles in classic camera mode. Press and hold 1 or 2.
- Zoom capability in free camera mode.
- Selector check.
- Animation in the main menu.
- In-game advertising (for example, in the main menu). Can be disabled in settings.
- Korean and Chinese translations.

Improvements
- Mouse wheel now works for scrolling through control menu items.
- Removed slight field of view increase when trucks were moving faster than 6 m/s.
- Greatly reduced the jump between each zoom level.
- Replaced free camera precision mode using 2 keys (Numpad 3/9) to change movement speed.
- Mechanisms that previously worked/activated with numbers in the advanced menu now use the Ctrl key. This is because camera modes are starting to appear on number keys.
- Freecam controls now have their own section in the controls menu.
- If your video card supports VFetch, the fog on the minimap will be smoother.
- Depth of field settings no longer depend on the time of day.
- Reduced the number of rain particles.

Fixes
- Fixed bugs and sticking issues with some joysticks/game wheels.
- Removed the achievement related to manual transmission.
- Classic camera will no longer move over obstacles when driving under obstacles.
- Changed the game intro.
- Fixed errors with UserMediaPaths.xml.
- Menu is now hidden when taking screenshots if "Show interface in screenshots" is disabled.
- Updated some achievements.

Patch v1.4.3 was released a little later than the developers had planned. It is now available on the official version of the game.

The developers are working hard on the next major update, which will include multiplayer saves, initially available in the public_beta branch.

Added:
- Options menu;
- Camera mode selector.

Improved:
- Improved control of mechanisms on some cargo vehicles. Cranes, hooks, and other equipment can now be activated using keys 5 through 0, whereas before it was a combination of CTRL + 1, CTRL + 2, and so on.
- If there is no trailer, pressing key 2 (default trailer camera activation) will not change anything, and the camera will not switch.
- Changed the orbital camera: focus position, focus point.
- Mods that affect the game’s DLC and modify these DLCs overall will now work like regular mods. That is, you just need to drop them into the Media folder and they will start working.

Fixes:
- Orbital camera. This camera no longer attaches to trailers.
- Fixed the “Plains” map, specifically a bug causing a white screen on loading.
- Lua scripts previously caused the game to crash. This has been fixed.
- Crashes occurring when loading mods have also been fixed.
- Changed/fixed the camera that attached to the manipulator.
- Added DLC map names to the main game localization. Consequently, these maps can now be viewed in the multiplayer lobby.
- Fixed a bug with spawn locator rings being visible on the map when pressing F1 even if they were inactive.
- Other minor changes related to the minimap when pressing F1.
- Fixes for gamepad controls.
- Fixed a bug allowing cameras to be bypassed using obstacles.
- Fixed a bug with an empty control menu showing an empty list.
- The main menu animation caused crashes. This will no longer happen.
- Ground textures disappearing at 8 PM in some cases have been fixed.
- Fixed engine braking with wheels when the clutch is disengaged.
- Some changes for the Chernobyl DLC. Modifications were made to some maps, and the 505 now appears with a sideboard.
