SpinTires coming to consoles in 2017

"We have been working hard to secure a partnership, and we are now very pleased to announce that Spintires will be released on consoles such as Xbox One and PS4 in early 2017.

If you’re not a console fan, don’t worry, because this is also good news for PC fans, as it means we will be expanding the development team for that platform as well! It took us some time to finalize this agreement and announce it, but work has already begun, and over the next few months you will hear more news about the progress of the console port and updates for the PC platform.

I haven't been here for a long time, I came to share some news about the game if anyone is interested:So, as we all know, Pavel is coding (porting) the game to next-generation Consoles, I asked him: how is that possible? New UAZ in SpinTires

Pavel Zagrebelny (the lead developer of SpinTires) shared a screenshot of the new 3D model of the UAZ and its addons.
This gives confidence that the game's development has not been stopped. We are waiting for the next update.

New information has come from the game developers. The game's development is ongoing. Over the past six months, the game has changed a lot, mainly in terms of graphics. The next six months will be dedicated to something new, beyond graphics, which we will all learn about closer to the New Year.

SelectStartupAddons="false" allows selecting which addons are installed on your truck when starting a new game. Takes the form of a new menu that appears on the loading screen. Tip: you can enter * in the search bar to see which addons are currently available. Addons of locked trucks can also be configured independently of the author.

TimeCycle
FreezeTimeOfDayAt="-1" freezes the time of day at a specific hour. Valid range: 0-24. For example, 14.5 locks time at 2:30 PM. Negative value disables the feature.
GameDayDurationInRealSeconds="-1" duration of the game day in real-life seconds. This does not affect fuel consumption if expressed in liters per real-life minute. The original game uses 1 day = 2700s. Negative or 0 values disable the feature.

Winch
BatteryPoweredWinch="false" electric winch works with the engine off (even if no fuel or maximum damage is received)

SpinTires Plus Configurator

The administration of STMods.ru has prepared a small surprise for you.
We are tired of seeing questions like "how to configure SpinTires Plus?". Even when we posted a translated instruction on configuring SpinTires Plus, there were comments like "still nothing is clear!".

We worked a bit for you! Meet the SpinTires Plus Configurator

Configure SpinTires Plus simply by checking/unchecking boxes (or entering values) next to the necessary items. As a result, the configurator outputs the SpintiresPlus_config.xml file with all the settings. Don’t forget to copy the resulting file into the game folder :)

At the moment, not all options are implemented, only the most necessary ones. We would be glad to hear your feedback and suggestions about this service.

As far as we know, this is the only service in the Russian internet segment, and possibly on the entire internet. If we are mistaken – please correct us.

The Future of SpinTires on Consoles and PC

Pavel Zagrebelny (SpinTires developer) told us a little about the future of Spintires.
At the moment, Pavel is working on porting the game to PS4 and Xbox One consoles. Right now, he is porting the game to PS4, and the game is already running at 60 FPS on the console.
On consoles, the game will differ significantly from the PC version in terms of improvements and updates. There will also be no mod support on consoles, but Pavel will take the most interesting and appropriate mods (with the authors' permission) and add them to the game. Pavel also assures that in the future all developments will, one way or another, make their way to PC. And then there will definitely be a release with tracks, and everything will go according to plan (snow, cockpit view, gameplay, etc.). Basically, the plans remain the same as they were.
Pavel did not comment on Oovee, and people quite understand that the company is no longer involved in the development of the PC game.
The console release is scheduled for around early 2017.
