Realistic Physics and Cabin Sway version 1.5 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (v1.43.x)

The mod changes the physics and cabin sway settings to be more realistic.
More realistic cabin movement, the cabin shakes on uneven roads (dirt, country roads, etc.);
The truck and trailer slightly slide on wet roads;
The truck will brake more slowly but still strongly enough for emergency braking.

Changes in 1.5:
Fixed steering wheel shake

New Truck Physics version 1.0 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (v1.44.x)

This mod focuses on the suspension (truck + cabin + tire), brakes, and steering. The suspension should be soft and damped, not stiff. Braking should be quite aggressive at very low speeds so that if you press the brake at 5 km/h, the truck stops immediately. Steering should be more comfortable for gamepad users.

Settings:

- When first enabling this mod, be sure to enter the console command "g_cabin_suspension_stiffness -2.6" before getting into the truck; you can safely do this from the main menu;
- The sliders for truck suspension stiffness, truck stability, and trailer stability should be set to 0%;
- The brake intensity slider should be set to 90%;
- Horizontal locking of the interior camera > 50% is strongly recommended;
- Enabling physical camera movement is also recommended;
- For gamepad users, steering sensitivity should be set to about 40%, steering non-linearity 0-10%, steering animation 1700°.

Known issues: sometimes when driving over a sharp bump (railroad crossing, etc.), the physical camera inside the cabin may move unevenly, although this does not cause any other problems.

Passenger Vehicle Physics version 3.0 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (v1.43 - 1.46)

- Fixes and improvements.
- The steering wheel has become slightly heavier when turning at high speed. At low speed, slightly lighter.
- The suspension of the car and trailer is softer. At the same time, body roll is reduced.
- The trailer now does not affect the car at all during sudden braking, does not pull backward, does not press the rear to the ground causing the front of the car to lift, does not kick.
- Game settings have changed, see the mod description.
This modification improves suspension and road grip at high speeds (approximately up to 230/250 km/h), as much as the game engine and physics allow. Remember, this is not a racing game! And do not break traffic rules on public roads. Realistic keyboard steering control is enabled. This allows for smooth turns at high speed.

Recommended in-game settings for keyboard and joystick users: see the screenshot here and in the archive - "Settings". Experiment with braking intensity; with a trailer, you can reduce it, as braking is better with one. Handling with a loaded 4-ton trailer is a bit worse, which is logical, it slightly jerks backward during sudden braking. (It no longer jerks more than that).

Recommended vehicle chassis settings:

1. After downloading the car mod, open it with an archiver;
2. Navigate to: \def\vehicle\truck\CAR NAME\chassis\;
3. Open/edit the file: standard.sii (the name may vary, like chassis1, chassis2, or anything else, the important part is the file extension - .sii);
4. Change the following values (experiments with these values are allowed):
residual_travel[]: 0.1
residual_travel[]: 0.1

Tested on vehicles:

1. Nissan GTR 2017 (Author: Mert İrşi)
2. Skoda Superb + Trailer (Author: SCS)
3. Tofaş Kartal (Author: TRZPRO). On cars with a lowered front end, sudden braking (floor pedal) may cause slight nosediving.

Compatibility with patches: 1.43 - 1.46. Load order: the mod should have higher priority than the car and trailer.

The mod is based on physics by: TheTiger and Alex KazaK - special thanks.

Momo`s Physics version 9.1 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (v1.47.x)

This mod strives to be as accurate as the game allows, without crazy shaking or exaggerated movements, without unrealistic weight increase, without unnecessary changes. Every change in this mod matters and serves a real purpose. What SCS has already done well remains untouched.

Features:

- Realistic braking – it will no longer suddenly stop your truck (provided recommended settings are followed), now you can smoothly stop your truck without spilling coffee on the dashboard and it won’t let your truck lose control.
- No more crazy shaking cabin. This mod makes the cabin respond more from the front and less from the side. As a result, the cabin now rocks 2-3 times when you stop the truck, but it will no longer sway sideways when you turn the wheel just 10 degrees at low speed. It will only rock when necessary.
- The cabin no longer jerks with every slight press of the gas. But it will rock under strong acceleration.
- This mod also includes its own seat movement.

Before using the mod, set the in-game settings as shown in the screenshot below.

For wheel users, it is recommended to replace the corresponding lines in the file C:\Users\X\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\X\controls.sii with the following:

config_lines[35]: "constant c_rsteersens 0.50000"
config_lines[36]: "constant c_asteersens 2.50000"

Smooth Gamepad Steering version 1.0 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (v1.54)

Control and internal physics settings to improve smoothness of gamepad steering.
- Reduced steering wheel return speed at high speeds, resulting in smoother steering;
- The steering wheel rotates more actively during low-speed turns and doesn't "hit" an invisible limiter;
- Added nonlinearity to the brake pedal (left trigger) to make braking less abrupt (DOES NOT reduce overall braking intensity);
- Increased camera amplitude to better convey acceleration and deceleration.

Added some functionality not available in the in-game settings:
- Pressing the right stick toggles the cockpit camera zoom (no need to hold it);
- The left stick (in addition to steering) controls camera zoom on the vertical axis when using the exterior view.

Installation: unpack the downloaded zip, copy Smooth Gamepad Steering.scs to the mods folder, and controls.sii to My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/profiles/"your profile" with replacement. Warning: this will overwrite your current control settings.
Settings were configured on an Xbox gamepad. Full functionality and fixes on other gamepads are not guaranteed. Not compatible with physics mods.
