The long-awaited Iberia DLC has been released and is now available for purchase on Steam.
Iberia is home to many historic villages and towns, narrow streets, old churches, and impressive castles. DAF's motto is "Start the Future," and they do everything to live up to their slogan. In the DAF XG and XG+, the main focus was on maximum safety and driver comfort. The most noticeable change in the cabin is the length of the truck cabin, which can be increased by up to 80 cm according to EU regulations. Although delayed, we are publishing it now!
The overhang has become more rounded. This was done so that in the event of a frontal collision, driver safety is significantly higher. Fuel efficiency is another plus of the new modern DAF models. 
Another very cool innovation is the replacement of old mirrors with ultra-modern electronic versions, which practically have no blind spots and significantly ease the driver's work. Night vision has also been improved. 
And of course, how could they skip improvements to the dashboard. If you are tired of the old instrument panel, the new models will delight you with a modern digital dashboard – DIP. 
So far, only the DAF XG and XG+ models are available, but there are plans to add the XF as well. Chassis: 4x2. If you love repainting your vehicles, you'll be pleased to know that these trucks have their own unique paint scheme. Not long ago, at the beginning of spring, the developers of SCS Software announced a new expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2, which is entirely dedicated to Russia.
Russia is home to the largest forest area in the world: about eight million square kilometers of mixed forests, including larch, pine, spruce, oak, and the national tree of the country — the birch, which is an important part of Russian folklore and history!
The release date of the DLC Heart of Russia is still unknown.

The developers of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator have specified the release date for the multiplayer mode Convoy. The online mode will be available in the upcoming 1.41 update. To celebrate, the developers have released a trailer.
Thanks to the Convoy update, drivers will be able to play together completing various tasks. Full synchronization is supported (up to 8 players), AI traffic, time, weather, as well as identical tasks. 

We are pleased to announce that testing of patch 1.41 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 has come to an end. This patch includes significant changes. Various bugs have been fixed based on tester feedback. Long-awaited features such as the Convoy mode have been implemented. Let’s take a closer look at everything.
Convoy Mode
Players of American Truck Simulator are already familiar with Convoy mode. This is a multiplayer mode that will be further developed over time, but you can already join sessions with your friends or other drivers. The mode is still in development, so bugs and errors may occur. 
Up to 8 players can participate in a single Convoy session. This limit is necessary to avoid various issues. However, the developers have promised to raise this limit over time. Who knows, maybe one day we will see full-fledged Euro Truck Simulator 2 servers. 
As in ATS, hosts will have administrator privileges to kick unwanted players from their servers if necessary. There is a session menu where you can either create your own server or join existing ones (either with friends or strangers). 
Players can simultaneously complete the same jobs and contracts. Traffic is shared and synchronized between players.Time and weather are also synchronized for players, so one player won’t have sunny weather while another experiences a downpour.Customization is visible to other players. If you decorate your truck, others will see it.As in ATS, ETS 2’s Convoy mode features three available chat types: text, quick (with preset messages), and voice (via radio). 
Unfortunately, there are some downsides, as mentioned earlier, since this mode is still under development. 
Mod support is not yet available. This feature will be added in the future, but for now, you’ll have to stick to the base game content.Drawbridge synchronization is not yet implemented.Minor bugs that may cause inconvenience.
It’s important to understand that these bugs will be fixed in future patches. Moreover, if something goes wrong (not your fault), you will have the option to restore your progress.
Iberia Map Expansion
Good news for fans of the Iberia DLC. The Iberia map expansion has finally been released. The map now includes the A24 highway, which runs alongside the Douro River through a vast area with beautiful vineyards. 
Photo Mode Enhancements
There are also improvements for those who love taking beautiful screenshots. New features are now available in photo mode. You can set both the time and the weather yourself, so lighting will no longer be an issue.

Work on Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator is actively ongoing. The developers are working on new expansions and improving existing content. However, despite their busy schedule, they have managed to assemble a small team that will work separately on reworking and enhancing existing regions.
